You can make your own medicine pretty early in the game too

Some titles are temporary, they'll usually be associated with a certain condition which you can scroll over. Some last for an x amount of rests, others will last until a condition is met. I think Vermicide(?) will stay on a character until the next time they complete a rat nest. The Fear of flames/plagues/poison/musthavefullyrepairedarmoraftereveryfight stuff is shit they typically live with after picking up.

You go straight and style on demons. I donāt need anything else. Iāll pop in Mega Man 11 for level design.
In fact, Iām happy theyāve moved away entirely from the seriesā Resident Evil roots. The puzzles were always awful in DMC games.
i wouldn't mind the level design if the game didn't pause every 3.5 seconds for a unnecessary cut scene.

It often takes more work for less monetary benefit than improving other things about a game. You basically need a map team and they need to be skilled coders, modelers, actually knowledgeable about how the game works at various skill levels, and be able work with the producer to make needed changes that may affect perception of the game.
It's much easier when it is a small team making a game because they usually all have the skillsets needed and there is less friction and inertia from up top to overcome.
