i just watched that first episode of vinny and jeff, after seeing that video.. the tom and jerry breakdown from agent york, sensational.
Wish I'd downloaded them before my sub expired. Would like to go through the Shenmue one again as well, Persona 4 is just too long and formulaic to rewatch. The MGS ones are pretty frustrating because of how bad Drew is at the game, encouraged by Dan.
@Daemon x Machina @Dy
The story and especially the in-game comms are utterly unbearable and invasive. They often drown out the in-game sounds.
Only doing C rank missions so the gameplay and tinkering haven't opened up fully yet, but everything feels like they could've done more with it. A watered down AC, I imagine?
Wish it was locked 60, its so fast and pretty. Decimating buildings neverrr gets old
Right happy 2023 everyone 🥳

By Yurtlicious Go To Post@Daemon x Machina @Dyits definitely been received as a watered down AC4A. Which is still.... I guess more of what people wanted in comparison to AC5.

I do remember having to tinker with the audio a lot though lol
By WoodenLung Go To Postwhat a gameKeep forgetting the sequel came out. I heard it's mid, but the original is one of my favorite games of that generation so I really owe the sequel a chance.
The witcher 3 hit a nice stride, also the idea of killing someone then eating the chicken sandwich they were carrying around is pretty funny to me.
New year, new games. What’s everyone playing now?
I’m back on my Siege grind and still playing Issac. I want to 100% clear the latter this year on Steam and play for some Eden win streaks again. Less than 200 achievements to go before I get to that point now. Repentance really makes it take so much longer than it used to. I cleared the game on Switch (AB+) within 300 hours.
I’m pretty much at 300 hours now and I’ve still got so much to go through on the Steam version.

By HonestVapes Go To PostNew year, new games. What’s everyone playing now?In my efforts to postpone playing Pentiment for as long as I can, I started Cult of the Lamb. Put in like 3-4 hours, I'm liking it, though oddly it might be the cult management / building part that'll keep me going after the roguelite location crawling inevitably grows stale and repetitive.
I reckon I'll finish it before that happens tho.

I really liked the look of Cult of the Lamb at first but it looked like it’d get stale quickly for me on the combat side of things so I gave it a miss.
Tbh, BoI and Spelunky (1) are the only Rogue-likes to hold my attention long term. Spelunky 2 was too hard and too demanding of my time to play beyond a couple basic wins. Returnal wasn’t a deep enough rogue-like to hold my attention past completion. Looking forward to the PC release still though.?
By HonestVapes Go To PostNew year, new games. What’s everyone playing now?Been playing Vampire Survivors this holiday break. Only have like 15 achievements left.

I know Sawyer's games can be daunting affairs, but Pentiment isn't one of them. It's very light, never overwhelms you with walls of text or tasks and an auditory trip with its ASMR sounds. Edit: Wait, you did try it already nvm. Yes, please change the text back😫
By blackace Go To PostThe Case of the Golden Idol was my first new game of 2023😭 I wanna play
Pretty amazing
Why is there no Mac version. Why can't hackers make ones
its crazy how fable can't even prop itself like star citizen or something. feels like its too easy to survive as an incomplete game now
Honestly can’t for the life of me imagine why anyone wants fable
I tried all 3 and hated all 3. Boring ass game and I’m not even sure the demographic is. Brits?

Always seemed weird that the racing game studio was making what I’d guess should be an ambitious rpg
Only played 1. It was alright, but bounced out once they added guns and a dog.
And Peter kept promising shit that obviously was never gonna happen.

Fable deserves more chances than gears
Was never into Fable either. Played maybe 10 hours of the original and have no recollection of the sequels whatsoever.
Anyway, I take it I should add The Case of the Golden Idol to my list?

But I get what you mean and I'm glad it's not a hardcore role playing game with tons of systems. My boy Josh needed a break after Deadfire and its unsatisfactory commercial performance, he deserves this win.

About 40 hours into Skyrim. I wish these quests would give me cooler rewards than just gold. The best reward Ive gotten is the volendrug weapon.

By s y Go To Postdaedric? There's a book called Aedra and Daedra. It explains more or less who the daedric princes are. Quests related to them usually have unique rewards.
