tell is usually the left part of my peripheral vision disappears, mouth, numbs etc. usually I get the kaleidoscope aura. can't read anything, can't see faces
caffeine also seems counterintuitive. too much coffee = worse headache. it's never helped
I've never tried the serious stuff, but ibuprofen or actual migraine meds do nothing. absolutely nothing. just have to lie down and let it pass

if you get em, you get em and there's not much you can do. I was disillusioned about treating it after what docs gave me didn't work but I guess it haven't tried OTC stuff. but I never know when they're going to hit until I get one of the symptoms above

Some headaches are the result of no prescription or a bad/old prescription on eye glasses. See an optometrist if you haven't for a while. Probably straining the hell out of your eyes too y'all.
