I also can get affordable quality food here whereas in SF you go broke grabbing a sandwich for lunch.

I limit eating out for lunch and there’s like a billion good food joints near LAX so once a month is fairly often in my rotation. Also hit up a local birria truck.

Charcoal is overrated in the charcoal vs gas grilling debate.

Actual wood coals is an obvious upgrade for grilling but charcoal is just different to me. Not better or worse. Just different. Definitely not as convenient.
All these newer gas grills have those flavor bars that smoke off the fats and juices to add flavor too /shrug
Let’s not forget the flat top grill too. Those things cook a mean steak

this is my grill... awesome footprint about the size of an outdoor trashcan. It doubles as a grill and a smoker.
Got one of those ceramic grills for the new house, its fucking great. Little harder to find smoking wood in the UK though.
