2nd best of the "saga" pretty comfortably. But 1/2/7/9 are all truly bad films so not much to be excited about innit.
Watched Bullet Train tonight. If it was like 80 mins long it might have been pretty good but it's stretched so fucking thin and the ending especially is so protracted considering how insanely dull the actual story is.
There were like four different versions of Forever Blowing Bubbles too which was an actual disgrace.
You'll be shocked to hear people have been walking out of test screenings for Aquaman 2 given the high pedigree of the first movie.

The "destruction " scene near the end of Glass Onion was the worst thing I saw from a 2022 show or movie.
Glass Onion was bad. Knives Out was so much better that I'm convinced someone had to have ghost written it.

Sitting waiting for Ant-M3n to start. Decided to go based on that MODOK video.

Tell us if its actually worse
By Yurtlicious Go To PostWellTwas your standard Marvel movie, wait for Disney+. Nothing remarkable or remarkably terrible about it. The villain and Majors' performance was, you guessed it, unremarkable.

It was particularly ugly in terms of art style/colours/design and a shaky cam action sequence early on.
By Punished Go To PostLooking at last year's Oscar winners and nominees. What a dud year that was!
Drive My Car and Licorice Pizza gonna become beloved shit but other than that…

dune and the worst person in the world too imo
Drive My Car will be remembered by those in the know of who Ryusuke Hamaguchi is, but not really in the wider scheme of things. Licorice Pizza is a similar story, but I also think that film was painfully mediocre besides the truck scene.
Decision to Leave was really good but now that I’m a few days removed from it I can’t say it will be leaving a lasting impression.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostHad no idea it was done with The Volume, but felt it looked cheap in bright shots.
The use of The Volume in The Batman is fantastic.

I watched Wildcat last week which is probably the most I've ever cried watching a film of any sort. Not sure I can do a sad animal movie again just yet.

I thought Majors was great. Best performance for me by a villian. I felt dread every time he was on screen.
The question posed by the tweet is good one and the response even better. As time goes by, I think Barry Lyndon might be my favourite ever film. Everything about it, from cinematography to soundtrack is spectacular.

It is fucking great.
Top three Kubrick for me with Strangelove and Paths.
Work with a woman who looks like a young version of Keri Russell. I have no further explicable comments on that.
By You got 14 bricks right there? Go To Postidk what that is but i watched the related trailer afterwards
By LFMartins86 Go To PostCitizen X is another pretty good HBO TV movie from the 90s.Just watched this. Donald Sutherland is great. Wanted to see that secretary dude get his head caved in
Much better than the more recent Child 44 about the same case.
