Finally watched Extraction 2, very entertaining, would have liked to see a movie on the villains though. I feel like Netflix, Amazon, apple etc are all missing something so obvious which is the eastern European crime drama where they're the central focus and not just the baddies who get killed in the end.
By data Go To PostWith all these actors juiced up to the gills right now for super hero movies, we should be having way more golden era bodybuilding biopics. Zac Efron IS Tom PlatzWhen is that Hemsworth Hogan biopic coming out anyway?
Adam driver can be my Bret Hart.
By s y Go To PostSaltburn…….has some pretty shots
especially the scene where murder on the dance floor is played.
Mifune in seven samurai is the most tired I've ever felt watching another person. Run up that hill, down that hill, swing the sword, back up the tree , up on the horse, thrown off the horse, squat for 5 minutes back down the hill, carry this body, run through this water
beautiful film.

The Audition is a 2015 short film directed by Martin Scorsese. The short film was created as a promotional piece for the Studio City Macau Resort and Casino.
It stars Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio, playing fictionalized versions of themselves, who travel through Asia and compete against each other for a potential role in Scorsese's next film.
It is Scorsese's first film to feature both De Niro and DiCaprio. Brad Pitt, also playing a fictionalized version of himself, makes a cameo appearance
After killers of the flower moon, i think i finally realized, that i just don't like Dicaprio much at all.
I think KOTFM is his weakest performance in a Scorsese film since Gangs tbh (although still very good). OUATIH is his best.
By s y Go To PostSaltburn has……some pretty shots and that's about it.Yeah but the movie is a bit rubbish.
I liked him in WoWS
He's a good actor but he's not very subtle - the best actors, you can't tell they are acting.

one of the better films of 2023. inshallah.
By Laboured Go To PostRebel Moon is an achievement in appalling film-making.I'm about to watch some YouTube videos on why his other Netflix movie looks like shit. I look forward to people making the same for this one.
All Netflix films have a particular look to them.
maybe the grading is off or something.
Leave the World Behind had a boring start, an interesting middle and a pretty cool finish.
They squandered the potential conceptually tho.

He was already the replacement for the directors of 5 & 6. Really has been a shit show of a production.
Shame because the Happy Death Day movies are great (Freaky isn't as good but still fun) and he clearly wanted the job but this production is absolutely fucked.
Rewatching Die Hard which is widely considered to be one of the greatest action films ever made. Can this also be considered a Christmas classic?

On the plus side, i watched old boy, solaris, the holy mountain, persona, the godfather, the thing and synecdoche New York. They all banged pretty hard.
An American Werewolf in London was pretty good too.

Mutant Mayhem might be one of the most egregious examples of millenials trying to write teenagers I've ever seen.
The characterization generally speaking and the fight scenes are cool but man their references are all over the place and why is a modern day movie about teenagers set to boomer hip hop. And Mikey sounds like a grown ass man
