By Freewheelin Go To PostI know it’s only 16 games but what’s the consensus on Arsenal from the neutrals on here? Do you think we actually have a genuine chance of winning the league?
I think it’s unlikely you keep up this momentum to the end of the season, but it looks like City won’t be in full sprint either. I give Arsenal about 75% chance at this point. It’s too easy for things to crumble, and City have a huge squad full of quality, so they’ll pounce
A study of Jamie Jackson’s most recent work as a journalist for the Guardian’s ‘10 things we learned this week in the PL’.
9 other featured writers, one for each game. Collectively, they have written 1309 words. The amount of those that are quotations? Exactly 100.
Of the 167 words Jackson was commissioned to write? 136 of them a direct quotation from Pep Guardiola.
This cunt is stealing a living.

By Freewheelin Go To PostI know it’s only 16 games but what’s the consensus on Arsenal from the neutrals on here? So it just depends how badly a dip in form effects the players at arsenal
If Arsenal get through the next month or so with their points gap still intact, I think they win the league.
Newcastle, Spurs, United, Everton, Brentford, City, Villa. If they get through them and they’re still seven points ahead, it’s a good sign.
The benefit Arsenal have over this tough run is that City have one too (Chelsea, United, Spurs, Wolves, Spurs, Villa, then Arsenal - with Chelsea and Saints in the cups too). Even if Arsenal drew two or three of their next five, City are going to find it very hard to win all of those games before the Arsenal match.
Although, even if Arsenal won their next five, if City win all their games before their match-up too, and then beat Arsenal, it’s a 1pt gap (albeit Arse will have a game in hand).

By KidA Seven Go To PostSort of the same type of player as Sancho (in his timidness) except he knows Ten Hag's system more, and tracks back a little more. Let's hope one of them figures it out.We need both of them figures it out because we need variations and options in the forward line. And they are both fucking expensive...

1. Winner - 5%
2. Second place - 25%
3. Third place - 65%
4. Fourth place - 3%

I think if we're still on top after January we're title favorites, but this will be a very long month

Genuine yes but it's slim, Jan will really see what we are about but I keep saying we are a partey injury away from this all crumbling. He gets injured for anything more than 2/3 games we are fucked.
Other players getting more plaudits but in terms of how we play, no one is more pivotal. this doesn't excuse him potentially being a rapist

Dude is so slow with the ball at his feet. Definitely a position we can upgrade.

Shanks what, he slows it down purposefully. There aren't many in the world with his physicality AND passing ability. It's usually quite short range but his passing is incredible, it's so incisive, direct and often finds our better players on the half turn. Honestly think he's the best 6 in the prem right now
Partey, irrelevant of the allegations, is easily Arsenal's most important player

Yep. The problem is Rapist. If he goes down for whatever reason elneny isn't going to cut it. Bring back Patino fuck it

He slows down attacks because he holds onto the ball too long and then just makes a short pass. His defensive qualities are great, but lets not forget how many shocking passes and mistakes that have lead to shots in goal.

Wrong. That would be Xhaka. His ability to make runs into the box creates so much more space for our forwards.
I would also say Zinchenko has a claim as well with his ability to sit in midfield. Drastic dropoff in attacking quality and control if the game when he is replaced by Tierney

I 50% agree with you on this. Partey isn't the flawless player people make him out to be but it's incredibly hard to find an available player with a better profile. He's just not a great ball retainer/progressor.
Just having a wee chuckle at someone with the first name Trai, since Hixx pointed him out.
No offense if there's any Trais here.

Xhaka has been very good, but he's been able to make those kind of runs because Partey keeps everything so solid behind.
Zinchenko? No way. He's missed literally half your games for a start, in the 3-1 loss to Man U he was the worst player on the pitch that day in your only loss. He's been good overall don't get me wrong, but he's not in the conversation for your best player this season
