By Perfect Blue Go To PostSure is entertaining though, which is all I need to enjoy this sport. Need this season to be Mourinho 15/16 mk2. As long as we aren’t relegated let’s see how funny it gets
Yeah man, 1 win in 10. Must be very enjoyable and fun for a Chelsea fan!
It is indeed very enjoyable for everyone else
Joao Felix will bring some much need cojones to this Chelsea side, it's about time the club sign a born leader that can lift the team up with his performances.
Auba up front with Sterling, Ziyech and Joao supporting him, mamma mia the PL isn't ready for this high intensity high pressing forward line.

Did the Nkunku deal actually complete? I thought it was done but he got injured right before right? 🤔

I cant tell if you're trolling or being genuinely that dumb/black and white on the situation at Chelsea right now. Chelsea were already quite bad when he took over, and lost the most important defender and the second/third choice as well due to the sanctions. On top of that, a bunch of injuries to key players right now.
Add on top of that, a window where Tuchel acted like an utter cunt and refused to help the new owners with targets until very late in the window.
Todd has done a few really terrible transfers, mostly Koulibaly who is a disaster with that length on his contract for the French Maguire. But people putting it down to just him are fucking idiots.

Isn't he kind of doing that now? Lineups look different whenever I chime in, but that could be injuries driving that

Chelsea’s record with those two in the squad is ridiculous. Probably the two most important players in the side and it just gets worse compounded with the other injuries.

Doesn’t really matter what players Boehly buys because he will get bantered regardless of how they perform, so it’s all a bit boring to read at this point.
By barber Go To PostMeanwhile Manchester Club (the biggest club) are trying to make the Weghorst deal a permanent one, according to Fabrizio.World Cup goals
Weghorst: 2
João: 1
Smart money move by United as usual

Did you reply to the wrong post? I was specifically replying to PB saying it's been a funny and entertaining season as a Chelsea fan...
No idea why people think Chelsea need to sign a striker when this man is coming back in a few months :
It's all done yeah, he's joining next summer.

In a way, he did that a LONG time ago

who was replying to laboureds post, about it not making any sense in terms of building a football team. could be to both of you though.
Tbh only thing I would knock Boehly for is not buying replacements for Chilwell and James. Cucurella has been awful and those two positions are badly needed for reinforcements.

Yeah but I wasn't replying to that, my post was literally I just thought it was odd how such a bad season (regardless of why) can be seen so...positively from a Chelsea fan.
Having experienced runs that have one win in 10 games...I guess I just didn't find it so funny and fun. That's it really.

Also being a Toronto sports fan I’m used to my teams being shit lol. In football being in crisis, the drama is also at least entertaining whereas being shit in American sports has 0 entertainment value.

Yeah it's an unusual position, certainly not one shared by the Chelsea fans I know in real life (I know too fucking many now). That's all my post was.
For sure bro, I got you. Not sure what Wooden is talking about, I’d imagine everyone here recognizes we are suffering an injury crisis and issues that stemmed long before Potter and even Boehly came in.

Don't get me wrong, I think Todd takes the majority of the blame but no, obviously he doesn't take it all.
Potter was going to have a really tough job this season, that was pretty clear early on. He's still performed below expectations but the state of the club, the injuries and how much has changed in the past year in general to me means he should be given a free hit of sorts.
I think a lot of the players Chelsea signed were very sensible. The only one that still seems genuinely baffling to me was Wesley Fofana at the price they paid.
I'm seeing they're being linked with Matty Cash which seems very underwhelming, especially given the price Villa would require. Obviously their fullback situation is pretty fraught but James is supposed to be back in a few weeks so a huge fee for Cash would be a bit weird.
As a fan though.. transfers are probably about as fun as it gets, so right now at least Chelsea fans can just enjoy that element.

By n8 dogg Go To PostAt least Fofana is young. Worst signing by a country mile was Auba.
It was bad. However not even close to the disaster that is Koulibaly on an expensive ass 4 year deal.
By n8 dogg Go To PostAt least Fofana is young. Worst signing by a country mile was Auba. That one is a little tricky for me. He actually did pretty well at Barca and isn't THAT far removed from being a PL golden boot winner. The fee was low and his contract is pretty short so cutting their losses won't be that difficult. Obviously it was an underwhelming signing in terms of being the answer to their striker hole with Lukaku leaving, but as a signing in general, I wouldn't have considered it terrible on paper.
But then again, I also thought Arsenal signing Willian (outside of the silly length of the contract) when they did wasn't going to be as awful as it turned out to be so my track record is spotty.

Suprised to see Saka and Martinelli both starting. Martinelli looked like he could do with a rest last match.
By Elchele Go To PostWhen are Chelsea hiring a proper manager?Potter is a really good coach and he did get off to a strong start there. Obviously this season is a write-off, but they need to stick with him and give him a shot. Pep finished 4th in his first season at City.. it can take some time.
