Hello Emil my old friend
It’s good to speak with you again
It's almost as if Havertz still isn't a striker, and the team is still suffering from tuchel being a huge fraud. The injuries aren't helping either.
Not a single player with any speed on this team. City can just press as high as they want to, no danger of counter attacks.

Remember when Chelseai paid 200m for King Kai and everyone pretended he was one of the hottest properties in football alongside Haaland and Mbappé? "Money well spent, not a massive gamble at all, can play DM/CM/CAM/Roamdaughter/False9/CF".
He'll make a career out of that CL final goal at least.

Can't wait for big Todd to keep giving Potter time to rebuild this tragic team and prove everyone wrong.

Too early to tell. None of the players signed under his time are starting. Chelsea have a pretty weak squad I think. The only players in their starting XI that are top of the league quality are James, Chilwell and Kante, and they’re all injured.
I like Mount and Havertz, but they aren’t going to win Chelsea the league.

I mean, his Brighton team would put up a way better fight than this.
Anyway thank God Chelsea locked down koulibaly for 4 years. Just what was needed. Him and Sterling already proved to be huge success as predicted by football experts in this thread.
I hope he self combusts.
By Dan Go To PostI hope Fady goes easy on them in his post match review :(

Yep; Boehly should get more blame than Potter for the current state of affairs.
It’s the culmination of a tempestuous few years, really since Hazard left. You had the transfer ban and a fairly promising first year in charge from Lampard, with this initial step towards more youth players in the squad (a bit of a legacy with Mount and James featuring prominently).
I would argue Lampard was sacked too soon, at the first sight of trouble - such is the Abramovich way - , but Tuchel did a good job steadying the ship. Ziyech and Werner were failures of signings, likely club signings rather than Lampard ones, and one is still starting today because of a paucity of options.
I think Tuchel’s only full season (last year) was decent enough, but the turmoil of the war was a distraction - and the only signing being that waste of space Lukaku was just a fucking joke.
This year, Transfer Todd backs Tuchel, signing Sterling (who I thought would be better, admittedly) and Aubameyang, and then sacks him right after.
You’ve got a squad built by around five different managers, none of which are Potter’s, and all the quality players are injured. He needs more time and needs players that are a) fit and b) ones he can coach, rather than pensioners and Arsenal rejects.
