Arsenal 6.5/7/10
Missed all our top targets but covered some important areas hopefully with some adequate cover.
Out :
Porro (5M€ loan + 40M€ on the summer)
Jovane Cabral (loan with a 5M€ option clause)
José Marsà (loan without a buy clause)
In :
Bellerin (1M€ + a future transfer fee)
Ousmane Diomande (7M€ + 5.5M€ in objectives)
Mateo Tanlongo (free)
Downgrade at the RWB but Bellerin seems good enough for the league.
We needed a new CB given the St. Juste has been injured 4 times in 6 months, Diomandé is a risky choice but Rúben seems to really like him and apparently big clubs were interested in him so we will see.
Not sure what to expect from Tanlongo but we needed another midfielder and he has been getting game time already.
Main issue is we once again didn't go for a striker.
Our only senior striker just got a 3 game suspension and we only have a 17 year old and a 18 year old to play there.
We need to have pretty much a perfect second half of the season to have a shot at Champions League football next season and we face the 2nd placed team tomorrow (Braga) and the third (Porto) in two weeks.

By Esch Go To Post7/10 sounds right, especially for a January window. I'm enjoying Trossard more than I thought I would.
8/10.
Didn’t overpay for anyone. Added quality in two places we need it. I think Trossard and Jorginho will have more of an impact these next few months than the two relatively unproven quantities we were gonna spend big on.
I also like that we are willing to spend money, even if we didn’t actually spend it.
Better to know when to call it quits than over pay for players like Chelsea.

How much of the PL's spend over this window was just Big Todd Boehly?

Trossard is a very good signing and Kivor will be (hopefully lol) good backup for Gabriel at LCB. No real opinion on Jorginho but he's okay I suppose.
Next summer will be huge if we win the title

We have no money and we're in the middle of our club being sold. But we still covered competently with loans in a way we've actually rarely done before.
Can't say anything about Butland but Weghorst is already fitting in pretty well, and Sabitzer has the the quality to match what we've lost in Eriksen and on a couple of days' notice.
I will mark it a 9/10 if Sabitzer sorts his hair.

That United sale really needs to get a move on in the next couple of months
8/10.
Pretty chuffed with Sabitzer, think he'll cover Eriksen's role perfectly

Bellerin cost 1m? Fucking hell what a downfall of a career he's had since his injuries at Arsenal. He's still young, maybe he can do a job in Portugal
That's a tremedous piece of business by Sporting if he does well there

Inky por favor.
They've been banning multi-team ownership for 20 years m9. They'll never go back to long seasons with all the money liguilla makes. It's farcical.
10 we finally got a backup for Reece James (even though he won't be in the team until summer) and got rid of the lazy motherfucker that's Jorghino not to mention signing everybody

We needed a keeper and got a 24 year old from some South American country for 0.5m. I saw a clip of him in the warm up before the Sassuolo game and I can confidently say we all are better goalkeepers than him. Even all the FFs.
We needed a striker, a RW, an AM, an LB, a CB and a DM. Got in none of those.
The squad is 31 players big, so there are a lot of players to say good bye to. We managed to offload none of them.
So really, -10/10.

Happy with the couple of signings we made but we needed a midfielder going into the window and we lost Shelvey unexpectedly so we're extremely short. Bruno's red last night puts that in full focus.

Alcaraz will be class. Bree is championship back up. Orsic will never settle. Sulemana could be anything. Not inspired by the Nigerian Peter Crouch.
Still got Adam Armstrong playing for us. Tough.

Luckily Big Sean is stepping up in a Big Way

Not really. The issue isn't with the current midfielders, they've all played well all season. But if any one of them gets injured we probably have to bring in Elliott Anderson to play cm.
