Some genuis tried to say Belgium would reach the final. But it is only me, Laboured, who had the guts to bring truth and light to this, The Devil's World Cup.
One good thing from this terrible WC is that finally KDB got exposed as a fraud.
But yeah hopefully the end of the "golden generation" and Martinez.

they played 10/15 mins bad footy against Japan, but they should have been 4 up already after first 45. At least as good as Spain if not better in second match.
Ok, Japan loss against Costa Rica saved them, but If they score a few against Costa Rica they go through easily and would not rule them out yet even if defensively they look like easily concedingbat times (and no pure goal scorer, werner lol).
By Lupercal Go To PostNow to sack Martinez and we've gained something from this WC.

wonder how lukaku is going to play the victim card this time
even werner would have scored one of those

Golden generation.
Well that's two generations there. You can see a massive difference in results between 2000-2012 and 2014-2022. The Golden Generation might not have lived up to the hype but realistically, for a tiny country like Belgium, it achieved enough. Biggest regret for them probably was Russia 2018, that SF loss against France.
With a better coach, maybe they'd have won a trophy but I don't think they ever were good enough.
Have watched five mins of the WC but are willing to do an exception of someone would link me to that dirty Lukaku miss
It was only 2018 where everything really lined up for the Belgium "golden generation". 2014 they had a lot of players still too young, and by this WC many of them were well past it.
They probably should have done a lot better in 2016 though, dunno wtf happened there.

This happened in 2016 :
That ended Wilmots' tenure as NT coach at least. Martinez probably was a slight improvement but still clueless.

we're in a sort of mini golden generation for us.
we qualified once for the WC from 1970 - 2002
but we qualified for every WC since 2006 and made it out of groups in 3/4 with a good chance to go 4/5 tomorrow. last year we beat France at the euros.
