I’ve come around to signing Harden at this point. He’s not worse than KPJR who needs to be gone from the PG position asap. We already know he’ll be decent enough to not let them crash during the regular season, which is now important given that the CP3/WB picks are now coming into play, starting with next season. Draft Amen Thompson at 4 and hope he can develop a shot along the way and just see what the hell happens.
Or trade up and get Scoot somehow, but that puts you in pretty much the same position that we’re in now with the swaps and picks.
So fuck it. Bring Harden back to Htine and pop bottles at Dreams or Onyx. KPJR can not be the PG of this team.

Dude acting like he knows basketball when every time I say something he says “fuckin hell I didn’t know that. I had to look it up” regarding something within the past 2 years
That’s like me going into the footy thread and talking shit to everyone and saying I’m a Real Madrid fan, I know winning

I see JJ drew the short straw in the production meeting today
I don’t disagree tho, at least to some extent. People and Politicians making AR-15 family Christmas cards …
From my perspective it feels very much like “black people cant brandish their second amendment rights like white people”
I get there an image the NBA wants to cultivate but it still feels heavy handed to me?
If Ja didn't do all the fuck shit earlier and this was the first time, he'd have a point...but its not lol.
yeah he didn't break any laws but as a player there are rules and he broke them, got suspended for it...and then broke them again.
he has to get got for this lol

thought you were talking about me ;_;
NBA already has a clear policy and just in general you don't want an employee brandishing while he's being sued for/accused of multiple assaults lmao.
Idk enough about the CBA. If there’s clear language about it then yea, he should be dealt with. But if “conduct detrimental” is the loosely defined broken rule then I agree with JJ that forcing a significant penalty in this case is weird.
I’m wondering where everyone works where the only things that will get you disciplined are illegal things

By Kibner Go To PostEspecially when that or similar behavior has resulted in significant discipline before for that person and others in the workplace. And forget that giant corporations at large -- no matter how evil they've behaved or worse you think they are -- do not put advertising dollars behind nonsense like this. There's a reason you don't see advertisers flock to controversy even if legal.
Remember, free speech is also a protected right but you won't see Nike sponsoring Enes Kanter.
I can totally imagine Smokey suddenly funding less time to be a family man if Rockets landed the 1st overall pick.
Portlands salary structure makes it hard to find a deal, but I think this one could be likely?
Portland out: #3, Nas Little, filler
Raptors out: #13, O.G Anunoby

Portland can't even drag ass and wait on this because Mitch is absolutely going to leverage the #2 pick too

I’m jus sayin seems like a heavy penalty /shrug

Anfernee Simons has a friendlier deal than Jordan Poole (and Anfernee is easily the better player) and Portland can unlock all their future draft capital this summer if they throw some cash and the #23 to the Bulls to close out that nonsense horseshit deal Olshey put them in.
Moving Nurkic is the tough one. That contract is rough.
Yikes, wanted to get my numbers right and Jordan Poole's extension hasn't even kicked in yet? His full 4yr/$128mi starts NEXT season.
Anfernee has 3yr/$77mi left, for comparison.

No man, and like I said I get the image thing, it just feels heavy. I’m not suggesting he did nothing wrong. Just feels like we’re awaiting some precedent setting punishment lol
Either way carry on, I’m more concerned about game two adjustment 😏
It shouldn't be addressed until... what? He accidentally shoots someone or himself?? He's brandishing in public spaces and casually waving the gun in the air in an unsafe manner.
We got the story about him sucker punching and then upping the burner on a teenager, friends flashing a beam at Pacers personnel, a volleyball incident and threatening a footlocker employee with him and his band of loser ass goons. Him flashing guns on camera makes me believe every single one of those stories, and I hope he loses a lot as a result. Fuck this dude, and the clowns defending him.

The company he works for has a policy against brandishing weapons and this is the 2nd time in less than a year that he breeched that policy.
The 1st time was a flagrant breech of their policy since it happened while he was on the clock.
The league being mostly black definitely played into the creation of the policy but it's there 🤷🏾♂️
JJ could lose his job if he tweeted something horrible about Jewish people tomorrow. It's not illegal. Politicians have doing it forever. However, if one wants to eat off that sponsor money, you can't do certain things.
Anyways, this feels more like a JJ I am the cool young coach PR push to me because after he gets hired he won't be championing for player rights 😂

Silver can do whatever he wants if he has the NBAPA backing him. The whole season seems wild and would be unprecedented but also I am tired of guns and he had his chance and fucked it up.

I will email Adam Silver to stop advertising to international audiences because they can never be fans having not been born near a US team.
