By n8 dogg Go To PostDo they do April Fools’ Day in France?Ya. It's called poisson d'avril. One of the few things I retained from French class in 8th grade lol
Probably marginally worse than being American tbh. We don’t have the global influence to back up our outlandish egos.
so you're saying it might encourage players to play more games?
also, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't apply that rule if the season was shortened like in 2020

By diehard Go To Postso you're saying it might encourage players to play more games?Considering a lot comes from the organizations is there going to be sandbagging to prevent bonuses they don’t want to pay? 🤔
By jjasper Go To PostConsidering a lot comes from the organizations is there going to be sandbagging to prevent bonuses they don’t want to pay? 🤔i will never believe this as anything other than a excuse that can be applied as conveniently as need lol
By domino Go To Postfr these players run everything but want us to believe they're being held out against their will?it don't add up with real math. especially when FOs are playing damage control after the fact like they're the ones hearing it from someone else, or trying to manage a narrative as it develops.
a rookie or role player? sure. but some of these coaches and GMs are finding out guys are not playing from fanduel
This Blazers tank job has turned egregious 🤦♂️
Their regular rotation now has 4 G-league guys, a washed lottery pick, an undrafted guy, a 57th pick and nobody taller than 6’9”
Not that this guy would have been here next season but yikes
Appreciate the extra time for Shaedon but I don’t need to watch this.

You ever know someone who was obsessed with the worst idea you've ever heard, and keeps bringing it up over the years? That's Adam Silver with the midseason tournament. What an idiotic thing to add.

What an idiotic thing to add. There's money to be made and if it's in Vegas it penetrates his future expansion market even further. Just being a commissioner maximizing profit for his league. It also gives players another platform to market themselves if the tournament becomes a success

By reilo Go To PostSo if the Lakers finish 9th this season you'd be okay with abolishing the play-in?
Yeah, I've been opposed to the play in since it was first conceived. I wouldn't change my mind on that regardless of playoff implications for the Lakers. It waters down the game.

What an idiotic thing to add.Eh I thought it was going to be dumb but it basically is just a way to try to drive more engagement early in the season with really just 1 extra game so it isn’t really a big deal.
Just speaking as a Lakers fan, I absolutely would not want to see LeBron or AD playing hard and risking injury for a meaningless midseason tournament title.

They'll just do what Jrue did last year (I think), where they suit up, commit a foul after the tip and then sit the rest of the game.
By DY_nasty Go To Postnah fuck that lol. already jacked up the all-star gameThis would've avoided Ben Simmons making All NBA because of position splitting
By DY_nasty Go To Postwhich year?19-20
Middleton had more votes but lost out because he got votes at G and F
By reilo Go To Post19-20yeah nah middleton had to hold that lol. and if its close on third team and you lost - you lost.

Clippers getting away with murder when defending Ingram. All the Pels are missing bunnies. CJ is doing some good stuff in the second quarter.
Every time AD goes down, I always think about the football scene in Wedding Crashers. Basically anything after 2:00
By Omzz Go To PostCj wide open layup lmaodisappointing, but i can't begrudge him much. he's been playing the last 50 games with an injury on his shooting hand that he will get surgery on in the off-season

uh oh
