By Plasma Go To PostI feel like most PL clubs do this already, only difference is it's going to have the PL name attached to it. Never been a fan of these pre-season tournaments but as long as they don't start playing actual PL games abroad then I couldn't give a toss what they do pre-season.

By Cleff Go To PostThe continuing Americanisation of the sport continues. Terrible idea that just serves to further isolate local fans.American N8 approves.

Apparently Foden's goal would have been disallowed for Haaland on Allison? Don't agree with that, he didn't have full control of the ball for me. Not that it matters, the Fabinho one was 100% a foul.
And it is also clear that many Blues fans are defensive in the extreme about how their club is funded.
Whether it was fair or not, and many agreed with him, Klopp's comments about "three clubs" not having a financial ceiling in the build-up to the game annoyed senior figures at City and doubtless riled some visiting supporters, igniting passions even more at one of the most toxic fixtures in the Premier League calendar.
There is a feeling at City that what they view as Klopp's provocation was needless and made a difficult situation worse.
An actual section written by the BBC.
Poor old City, they just can't help themselves from singing Hillsborough chants because of that meany Klopp

seriously?

By Cleff Go To PostThe continuing Americanisation of the sport continues.I always wanted American sports to be more like European sports..unfortunately might end up reversed
Change is inevitable, the PL is a global sensation and IMO I’d rather see it expand in America than in China or the UAE. What worries me is player fitness. If the players are being protected for fitness reasons, the quality of the games will be shit, and the reverse case of player fitness suffering because they play too hard, is even worse.

The fitness part? Yes, its happening already, and it getting worse will really suck.
I disagree, the prem is coveted and loved for what it is, the history, the rivalries and the ties of the clubs to their locality and communities.
You kill that if it becomes some sort world series watered down traveling circus.

Not sure what the breaches were but it sounded like he started following the victim again on social media which no doubt was one of the conditions.

Disagree in what way? I didn't say I wanted it to expand, just that it was inevitable, and between the monied parties that will want the prestige, the US is preferable. I'm personally of the opinion that the PL's appeal is for the PL as it exists.

I think he's disagreeing that it'll happen. I don't think it will either. I can see eventually a CL final being held outside of Europe but PL matches outside of the country, I highly doubt it. The Superleague showed that the fans still have the power ultimately.
Shame we couldn’t play Citeh this week, would have been nice going into the next round with a 7 point gap.

It did... for now. I'm not so optimistic that it was final. I think they'll find another way to craft a similar spectacle.
There's been a lot to be surprised about Re Howe, but the defensive improvement has been the biggest for me. Obviously we've added a lot of quality but for it to be this good from a manager who really struggled defensively at Bournemouth is...pretty staggering.
Na, I don't see it. A Charity Shield game I could see.

This would be an obscene upgrade. Sack Gerrard immediately if Poch agrees to join.
The former is just isn't good enough. Read somewhere that his record is worse than Dean Smith's before he was fired.
