Garcia and Roberto would genuinely stick out as bad defenders even if they played for lower end LoLiga clubs. And busquets is going mls next season. Really needed and still need proper defenders. And haven't had a good right back since 2015 Alves haha. It's almost going to be a decade without a right back 💀
As for today, would have liked Fati to start on the left and dembele on the right. Otherwise, nothing Xavi can do about the defenders he has. I said last season, every single defender except Araujo needs to be replaced.

In general though. Pique, Alonso, Christensen, Alba, Roberto, Garcia and Bellerin could all be replaced by Getafe players and you wouldn't notice a difference.
With both araujo and kounde injured, those are the players responsible to defend and they just aren't any good.
Still good enough with the midfield and forwards for 2nd in LoLiga of course but to win the league or compete in the CL? Defense is simply not good enough.
