Not sure United can terminate Greenwood's contract. Unless there's a specific term that allows for it, I think he still has to remain on Uniteds books.
Benjamin Mendy is still a City player. The presumption of innocence remains in their favour. I guess nothing can be done until the final verdict.

By Oddinho Go To PostWhy can they publicly name Greenwood but not Partey? Is it because Partey is under investigation but hasn’t been charged?
You can see it in this very thread, in tweets earlier he was "21-year-old man" now the story is he's been charged he's now "Mason Greenwood"

think it's stupid if clubs don't have a "don't get arrested" clause they can trigger

By Scum Go To PostHave welostwon 3-1 yet?
United bros, we have a tactical shape in possession now. We're still too lopsided in favour of the left, but you can see that the players now know where to move in order to free up space for a pass. Makes it far easier to progress up the pitch.
Still missing a midfielder that can occupy the right hand space just past the halfway line. But we're developing steadily.

By inky Go To PostWhy hasn't party been arrested? Is it because Britain's government is collapsing?that one girl said there was a loophole, and it would seem theres not enought evidence for the others if they havent charged him yet?
Canelas used a kit sponsored by Porto's ultras group in today's match against Vitória Guimarães in the Portuguese Cup.
A reminder of the club's deep roots with Super Dragões, some of their players were part of the ultras group, at some point even the leader of Super Dragões Fernando Madureira (aka Macaco which translates to Monkey) was a player for the club.
Madureira is a known thug with the connections to violent attacks and drug trafficking.
He stated in court that he was bankrupt despite driving a luxury car and going on holiday to expensive locations.
He got a Master's Degree in Sports Management with a final grade of 17 out of 20 despite his final paper being poorly written and full of grammatical errors that would flunk a 9th grader.
But back to Canelas, the club reached worldwide attention due to getting promoted from a lower league because 12 of the 18 clubs refused to play against them for fear of on and off the pitch violence.
Things got so bad that 90% of the referees refused to officiate their matches.
Even the New York Times did an article about the team.
It's disgusting to see this connection to a group of criminals being celebrated but it's also a reflection of the state of corruption of the country.
Fernando Madureira got banned from attending football matches but until recently (and I am not sure if it's still happening) he was getting paid by the Portuguese Football Federation to lead fans in the National Team's matches.
Early this year, one of the Super Dragões was savagely murdered during the celebrations of the league title by another member of the group.
It was followed by weeks of violence and death threats between the families and friends of the victim and the murderer.
It was uncovered that FC Porto was paying the lawyers of the murderer.
Why would the club pay for his defence you may ask?
Well, the ultras group is the armed force for Porto's president.
Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa is celebrated for turning the club from a relatively successful club locally to a worldwide known club.
But behind all that success there's a darker side.
From former players saying that they were injected with unknown substances that would give them an incredible boost back when there was no doping control, wiretap recordings of Pinto da Costa using the codename "fruit" for hookers and holiday trips that were offered to referees, Pinto da Costa being tipped by the police that his house was going to be searched and running away to Spain before that happened, judges in Porto not willing to sign search warrants despite being presented with valid evidence, Pinto da Costa's power is almost infinite.
Back to his connections to the ultras group, they are known to threaten players if they find them out in night clubs when they should be resting and threating to break players legs if they don't renew their contract (former Man City midfielder Fernando publicly reported that this happened to him)
TLDR : Portuguese football is corrupted as fuck and people get away with crimes.
Not really sure how you can call this cowardball, we’ve dominated the ball against a team sitting in their box

I'm going to take this opportunity to congratulate you by the incredible season Benfica is having. PSG and Juventus might be a bit of a mess right now but Benfica's performances have been outstanding in the Champions League.
I'm actually jealous of the way you are playing and genuinely hope that you can go far in the Champions League.
