By Scum Go To PostRoma…Poor Mou, lol
Good result, great first half, bad second half. Farbio Vieiro is a player. Pretty middling performances from everyone else
By Freewheelin Go To PostPoor Mou, lolIt just gets worse. Down to 10 men.
By Meier Go To PostDo you guys think it's just mental with Sancho? He was really damn good for BVB.. and not just in Bundesliga games or anything. Has he had some bad injuries since he joined Utd? We know there is talent there..I just don’t think he’s hungry anymore. He isn’t even trying to do ppl up and get highlights off like in Germany. Just a nonexistent player rn
The problem with Sancho is hs lack of aggression.
The lad plays like he doens't want to scuff his airforce 90s.
He's a top player and has potential to be worldclass. needs better movement around him, he'll be fine - we have a coach now.
Gotta say, conceding two against this lot makes me concerned for Sunday.

watching psv highlights and see Ghakpho is still in his post transfer form
compared to his BvB time, Sancho also lack confidence and as a result too often picks the safe option too not make any errors.

Gakpo will attract a far bigger market than Leeds and Southampton in the January transfer window. Or at the very least, his transfer value will increase by at least 15m.
By Cleff Go To PostCan see why Roma struggled so much against Bodo/Glimt last season. They're very well coached and attack on a patterned basis. They aren't as technically skilled as the top level sides, but are ultra committed to their game plan.Their coach was heavily linked with the Brighton job. Seems like a strong team -- Wolves are apparently going after Lopetegui but I imagine another team could be in for the Bodo/Glimt coach in the future.
Honestly can't remember if we have any Argentinian lads on here (don't think so?) but if anyone could work out which stadium this is, I would appreciate it.
(Our two majority shareholders and our head of scouting for those curious. Clearly we are signing the next Messi)

By Daz Go To PostI bet you believe they only paid 50 million for him as well. You think Dortmund lied about how much they got for him?

as an argentine boi, i can quickly tell that is lanus. not to be confused with anus.
I don't understand Sancho's Bundesliga stats at all
His only attribute as far as I can see is composure when through on goal, but that doesn't mean much since he isn't particularly good at getting into position to use it
He'll be fine in terms of avoiding being bombed out due to not being quite shit enough, being too expensive to buy, and being English.
He's never going to excel imo

Anyone else see Gary Neville promoting the Qatar world cup and giving light to the "misinformation" spread by fake news on migrant worker deaths and human rights violations?
Im fairly certain he was quite a big fighter of the human rights violations in qatar and how they won the world cup in the first place
Coincidentally, once he announces he'll be working for Qatar's owned BeIn Sports, his tune changes.
Incredible coincidence.

man, how far away current FIFA is from this
I miss a proper football game so badly. Can't stand playing FIFA apart from clubs.

Best fifa since 2010 no doubt
By Vini.lad Go To PostThat animation of Drogba's headed goal and the players around him looks a lot closer to real football than anything I've seen from a recent football game. Obviously you need a bunch of precanned animations to slot together perfectly to make it happen in a way they normally don't, but still.

Intrigued by the prospect of 2k getting the FIFA license. Even if their focus goes for complete realism which isn't what I want, it has to be better than the alternatives right now surely. And even if it isn't it might inject a bit of life into a genre that is dead to me.
Catching up with the Barry Glendenning anxiety thing on Football Weekly having missed it at the time
How can he possibly not see how his original tweet made him seem like a massive bellend, whatever his intention was?

2k23 is great - but I exclusively play offline MyLeague
Barry Glendenning has always been a fucking horrible cunt he's just more overt with it now, I stopped listening to FW a long time ago because of him
One year ago today our takeover was announced. What a crazy day that was. One year free of Mike Ashley and Steve Bruce.

By Cleff Go To PostAntony is getting better as well, I think. Could've scored a couple but for some excellent goalkeeping. This is the moment I was referring to. Antony is excellent at getting defenders to commit to the tackle. Then with his quick feet and body movement and can breeze past them. He's done this a number of times in the games I've seen so far.
He has excellent close control and can shift the direction of the ball so quickly. Also has good acceleration and can get past a man. Just needs to become more involved in our general play. Encouraging signs though.
Biggest concern is the lack of support for him tho. He beats his marker, but there isn't a teammate within 20 yards for him to play off.
