cavalinho what do you say you and me go on a hunger strike in front of old trafford and demand they remove tristiano?
Feels like the elephant in the room for England at the WC is Sterling's form. We know he's going and will likely start, but he's had a underwhelming to poor start at Chelsea...
Was watching Zidane comps on YouTube the other day and was thinking that he was one of the only players to retire before declining.

Yeah, plus Southgate has long resisted it but he is now very much arriving at that point in his England tenure where he has his favourites that he picks despite form and that's around the point that fans turn on you when you're no longer winning.

It's a tough one because I think on paper out best front 3 is Foden - Kane - Saka but Foden just hasn't worked under Southgate as much as we'd hope. Rashford is in good form but I don't think he can really play the same role that Sterling does for England and frankly I don't think he deserves to be starting. Then there's Grealish.
It's genuinely a tough one

He's fucked it. On that though I'd like to publicly thank Man U for not letting him go to us in January.
Managed to get a ticket for tomorrow. Not the best view but fuck it, I'm going to be at the stadium.

Well Tuchel wanted him but Tuchel was stifling all their attacking players. He's going to play a pretty different role under Potter to what he's done before, I think he'll come good bit it's going to take time. It'll be a rough season for him probably.
Being reported that Pogba has suffered a setback in his recovery from surgery. Big doubt for the World Cup now.

Ole really fucked with players. Was too scared to rotate, played players when they weren't fully fit.

By Daz Go To PostIt's not tough at all re England selection
A good manager picks the most talented and in form players.
Southgate is not a progressive manager so of course he won't get the same juice out of Rashford and Foden that the club managers ha
But Southgate is the manager...so the conversation is in that context. If he was picking on form alone it would be Foden on the left, but we know he most likely won't do that

Actually think Vini was calling batong a clown. Harsh, but also fair.
It was a nickname given to Careca as a child because of his admiration for a famous Brazilian clown of the same name.
The Portugese word for clown is one of the few things I remember after a year of living with a couple of Brazilians.

By FootbalIFan Go To PostThat isn't happening. He will be playing at the Camp Nou. Bookmark it lads. What’s he got left to prove? Might as well try and enjoy life and play in MLS while he’s still actually got it. Basically every other star who has moved over past their sell-by date has failed pretty miserably in the last 5-10 years. Could see him not wanting to replicate that.
If there's any agreement with Inter Miami it would be for the future after he's done in europe. He's still the best player in the world so it wouldn't make sense yet.

By Plasma Go To PostTook the money we got from selling Dike to sign him. Really decent first year overall but took a little time to really find his feet. I am unsure of whether or not I think he’s ready to make that step since most guys play at least a few years in MLS before moving to Europe but Arsenal may have been tracking him at Peñarol. Orlando City paid $9m for him so I assume the fee would be at least £15m if they did move for him.
Is he any good?

Happy birthday Batong.
I celebrated the assist, not the goal scorer. Really just want him gone. Fucking tone death from the club posting that.
