Wonder if we're even taking steps to stop being so fucking shit in the first ten minutes or if they think it's a coincidence
Jesus, we have an excellent opportunity to cut the difference to Porto to just 1 point and our starting 11 is scary.
Goalkeeper and center backs are the usual starters but everything else is not the usual players.
Esgaio (awful, awful player) and Nazinho as the wingbacks, Dario Essugo making his debut this season as the more defensive midfielder with Pote dropping down to be the more creative midfielder, front 3 of Arthur, Rochinha and Trincão.

Amad Diallo was bussin' today, deserved a goal. If we can get him, Roberts and Clarke in behind a fit striker... oh baby, we got a stew goin.

How’s Mowbray working out for you after the great Neil betrayal of 2022

Minamino and Mané hat tricks.
What a terrible miss from Arthur. We are actually playing well, Nazinho has been great in the first 10 minutes.
By Scum Go To PostYou know, I wasn't quite sure of what to make of Kompany when he was announced as Burnley manager. But credit where its due, well done to him.Pep is relentless

what a goal
Crazy thing to say after last season.
Pocket tuna man... imagine making Messi look just "decent" and forcing him to stick to shit positioning instead of roam.

By FermentedFungi Go To PostIt’s incredible how hyped pocket tuna was for a few years.Even statistically if you just compare the creative output of Neymar, Messi, verratti from this season to last. The stats alone show you pochetino is a football terrorist. No wonder he lost a 1 team league.

Hard to judge because apart from Rotherham we've been severely weakened by injuries since he took over. But 1 win in 8 isn't great. Our 3 games before the WC are all very winnable though and Simms is back off the bench at least so I'll wait a while before being too worried. He's not scared of using the young lads we've brought in though and a few times now, particularly in away games, his subs have won us points. Alex Neil would never have made those subs.
Neil revealed himself to be dogmatic pretty early on this season. His refusal to use the younger players in the squad cost us against Coventry and QPR... those 4 points would have had us comfortably top half rn.
But really for me it boils down to this: anyone who would rather manage Stoke than Sunderland is a little fucking gimp. So fuck him. Small bald wanker.

I wish. Sounds almost certain Stewart will leave in the summer :(
