this post is heartbreaking
It's like the WW2 soldier talking about how he's going to buy a nice home with his wife and get a nice picket fence when he returns.

The Ronaldo transfer situation had United between a rock and a hard place.
Watching him lift the title with city would have broken the fanbase' collective psyche. So they gambled and it seems to work for a bit, but there was no structure to help facilitate that kind of player.
I missed the game, but I hear we played well.
ETH is the one.

By Scum Go To PostWilli, pls. Limit it to just three goals this weekend, okay?
I can't promise that
By Laboured Go To PostI do hope CR7 has a great WC so he can find a new club.We are not getting out of the group stage.

I loved the scenes when he signed and in a shit show season he kept the lights on. I would do it all over again. Farewell Ronnie thank you for the memories. #theromanticone
By inky Go To PostA DM at the base of the midfield. A proper RW sticking close to the sideline… I could die happy.
As I said earlier, I actually felt felt a bit weird seeing Casemiro intelligently stop counters and distribute after. Like it's been over a decade.

By n8 dogg Go To Postno that was me.
You were just repeating me m8.
He’ll come good. Just needs to adjust. Could have had a hat trick tonight, was unlucky not to have at least 2
Darwin can be quite explosive. Active. Energetic.
If he builds a good understanding and doesn't head butt more players, he could definitely turn out good. Not Haaland good @n8, but still good.

Nunez strikes me as one of those players who is absolutely fantastic when he doesn’t have time to think.
I don't know what to make of him.
There's something about the intensity he plays at, his athleticism, and the sheer desperation to make things happen around the box that makes me think that he'll succeed. But that same desperation also seems to cause him to slash at the ball or confuse himself when he has time to consider his options, and I don't think that can be coached out of him.
Either way he is looking miles better now that the team around him is somewhat functioning. His ability to fashion or find a chance is exceptional, especially considering how clumsy he is a lot of the time. Just a moderate improvement in his composure and he'll score a shitload though he'll always be chaotic for better and worse.
As frustrating as he is, I'm enjoying having him in the team. Maybe that's just delusion though as I struggle to accept that we blew our entire summer transfer budget on him. At the very least he isn't the completely useless lump that he's been painted as (and to be fair he seems that way quite often), you don't get as many chances to score as he does if you don't have some forward's instinct about you.

He was incredibly composed when he played against us for Benfica. I think it’s just a huge move for him, he’s feeling the expectations and he’s desperate to impress. It’s something that usually comes with age and experience anyway.

Those stats say he gets in the right positions very well but can't finish and has no composure. Sounds about right from what I've seen.

By Laboured Go To PostMartinez and Dalot are making me feel quite nice also.
dalot has improved so much under ten hag. plays with a lot of confidence.
i consider him a good right-back now.
i'd take him over ben white.

Like Lieutenant Dan, Ronaldo effectively has no legs now

If he scores Ronaldo numbers I'm happy.
