I mean that might be part of it, the differences. But everyone were sucking icelands dick a few years ago cause of their fans and players as well. The whitest of the white boys.
and of course the world finds England being there fun as well. Not the least due to the arrogance despite fucking greece and denmark having won something more recently. but also due to the extremely sunburnt gammons whenever it's played in a hot country.
International matches aren't my thing at all, but I would watch it over some dumb fucking all star match any day.
Anyway enjoy big Todd making all star matches. I hope anyone who watch it if it happens, do get ebola aids.
All star game is dumb imo but I'd totally watch a casual NBA style Summer League thing where they play the kids.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostIf it’s a money thing… lol just give the lower leagues more money. Why means test it.Why give them my money when I can make up a sorry excuse for a game and give them sponsor and fan money instead...

How about... Where they play against the kids
By Daz Go To Postright?Wenger and SAF.
who would even manage these teams?
By WoodenLung Go To PostHow about… Where they play against the kids
I assume there's a reason they stopped doing All-Star matches in the 90s/early-2000s, or at least that's when they last played ones that people even slightly remember. Would guess that they were a pile a shite and looked more like Soccer Aid than the Harlem Globetrotters, and were of no interest.
I've personally never been interested in what-if player combo scenarios so my opinion might be skewed compared to the majority. Watched a compilation of Batistuta playing with Ronaldo and it did nothing for me. The occasional nternational friendly is about as low as I can go these days in terms of being able to maintain an interest, and All-Star matches are a rung below that.

By n8 dogg Go To Post^ not having jordan pickford in an all star team
International football asks you to put aside club tribalism and watch cunts like Steven Gerrard play for your country without the tactical coaching or training that makes club football far better. If you aren’t really patriotic or you care far more about club football - see Wooden - , then it’s just as pointless an endeavour in some aspects.
Some of the best things mooted about the World Cup is the cultural highlights - South African fans, et al. But maybe that’s a form of western/White ‘othering’, oh wow look at these smiley black men with colourful tops how wonderful. Bet the rest of the world don’t give a fuck whether we’re there or not unless they have the opportunity to grind our colonial arses into dust.
mind you i’m as close to tory cunt as can be now. just bought an egg basket and an olive oil dispenser.
Yes it does. The moment when Pickford saved that pen against Columbia was amazing, I didn’t give a fuck that he’s a Mackem freak. But that’s because there’s a genuine shared interest, he’s English. I’m English. I want my team to do well in tournament with stakes.
A team of mostly international players playing on two arbitrary teams means fucking nothing. One player could play for the North one year, the South the next and back to the North the following year. Where’s the interest or connection to draw there?
I’ll cheer Pickford again if he pulls off another amazing save in November. Would I fuck be cheering him if he saved a pen for the “North” in the PL All Star Spectacular.
By NiceGuy Go To PostWhat if Pulisic took the penalty?
JPickz saving that Jorginho penalty after saying "no problem" was the greatest BRITISH moment since God himself broke us off from the mainland of Europe by smashing that git wass glacier into what is now the North Sea and rekting the lads of Doggerland.
Americans are just adding sugar on top of sugar until you get the sugar show in full form aka the super league.
wtf Junior Hoilett still plays?
Heck.
Back to 4-2-3-1 for us though, nice. Hate 3-5-2... but, hate not having Stewart up top the most. :(
Nice to see Alese get a game for us but in all honesty he's looked absolutely shit so far.
We've not won when we've been on tv yet this season. Think tonight is the 6th or 7th game too. Woof.

By Meier Go To Post@Martins, City have a Portuguese player named Carlos Borges who joined from Sporting back in 2014 (when he was 10) – he has really turned into a helluva player. Was the U18 player of the year for 20/21 and has been on fire for the U23 and the UYL team. He is under contract until 2024.. hopefully City extend him or else he'll be another one of those guys we sell for 10m next summer I suppose.I actually saw his name pop up the other day and I had no idea he had been with us.
Thorup deciding only to have 11 players on the bench, and exclude other well paid first team players lmao. Two of the guys on the bench are keepers, and one of them just played youth CL match a few hours ago. FM told me this wasnt allowed!

looks like another europa league night, lads.
grim.
and yet none of your teams could get into it. that is grim, brother
they should make it into a proper champions league imo. chelsea dont deserve it after least season. give it to the champions of Luxembourg instead
We only lost once in CL at home, and that was to Real Madrid.
Time to make it a second, against a terrible Sevilla team.

looking forward to boehly introducing these.
will be rough for players like darwin.
We have the technology.
Crazy how shit Spanish away fans are. I know Copenhagen is a pretty small opponent and all, but there's like 50 lads. Even a giant like Real Madrid barely had anyone against Celtic.
