By Punished Go To PostI'm hearing César Azpilicueta to be caretaker.
Terry imo
Sacking Tuchel is the right decision. He's an annoying freak who plays shocking football.
It's another nail in the "let managers have total control of a football club" coffin though. You can do that if you commit to giving them 4+ years (LOL). But that reality is most of them lose their jobs half way through building their squad. It's an archaic way of building your club and even we've caught on to that.
Sunderland.

By BlindCom Go To PostHe might bid his time and wait for the City's job. If the rumours are true and Pep will pick him as his heir. Fraudiola might leave after this season after all.
Chelsea isn't a very attractive prospect right now, that squad is a mess and the window just ended.
Sure Chelsea is a bit of a mess. But still a huge upgrade for Potter as well, who jumped ship as soon as he could from Swansea as well.
But if he's told he can get the city job, i could see him staying yeah. But not for many other reasons.

Seems insane to me you sack a manager 1 week after you spent the entire summer building a team around his demands
I hate that our first 3 Champions League matches are early kickoffs. It's a busy time at work so I doubt I can leave early today.
Not bad, Phil.
By Xpike Go To PostSeems insane to me you sack a manager 1 week after you spent the entire summer building a team around his demandsJust to reiterate what I said before, I don't think it should be an issue. They signed a player who had scored double digit goals in the PL for 5 seasons in a row, a guy who has been considered one of the best CBs in the world for about a decade, the guy who was considered one of the best LBs in the PL last season (who he coached), a guy who has been widely viewed as one of the best young CBs in the world for a few seasons and an experienced striker with 11 consecutive seasons in double figure goals in France, Germany, England and Spain.. all of them are very straightforward transfers that any coach should be able to work with. None of them were really "system" guys like you'd see signed under Conte or someone like that.
Potter is a really curious appointment for Chelsea.
Don't know if the jump from managing Brighton to Chelsea and the circus that follows it will be too much for him. Think there's more than a chance that the players eat him alive.

When’s the last time an English bloke was a head coach of a big 6 team? It’s really coming home innit.

In fairness, next summer would be Arteta's fourth summer window I think?
Respect to Arsenal for following their process. It's gonna feel like one massive edging sesh if it pays off.

Yeah I really dont get it. The only one that I can see being a real problem is Aubameyang, cause he's a dumb cunt and mostly came cause Tuchels cuntyness apparently can cancel his out sometimes.
We talk like that isnt how it almost always goes. New manager takes over an old team build by someone else. Would have been nice to have had someone before the window, but I guess they somehow couldnt predict it getting even worse with Tuchel.
they should have me as an advisor imo. I knew. Fraud
There are some managers where it'd be idiotic not to bend the club around what they want, Pep and Klopp especially
There are plenty more where it's probably best just to sack them if they start making demands, or become incapable of functioning with the system and resources provided to them.

Forget the new system not fitting the players... you gotta imagine anyone that's new and decent will be able to get something better than what we've seen out of that Chelsea team this season, which is a lot of jogging and terrible performances.
Kudus on 9 ?
not sure what that brings over brobbey
And tuchel out was logical (players trust gone) specially after reading that article about owner wanting infuence (talks) with coach, not gonna happen with tuchel

Look at Reina's face there. That's when he decided to give up.

Rangers look completely outclassed. A lot of time left to change things but can't imagine this doesn't end with Ajax scoring 4-5.

Back when Jonjo-Jay was the bright future. And Anderlecht legend Jovanovic looked so happy to be there.

Didn't realize Ajax had spent so much money. Something like €120m. Obviously funded it with outgoing transfers but surprised they actually reinvested so much of that right away. I see they brought in a CB from Rangers (Bassey).
Ranger players have no idea who to pick up and as result all over the shop and space everywhere for Ajax
