By Willkiller Go To PostI really wouldn't rule out Potter turning Chelsea down
He might bid his time and wait for the City's job. If the rumours are true and Pep will pick him as his heir. Fraudiola might leave after this season after all.
Chelsea isn't a very attractive prospect right now, that squad is a mess and the window just ended.
Chelsea need someone with experience of the biggest jobs. Arise Liz Truss.
I hear she's no stranger to playing from the back too

Brightons success didn't happen overnight. They got there because they scouted Nd bought correctly over a number of years.
Potter is an excellent coach but it'll take take for his methods to be implemented. That could be expedited as Chelsea can throw vast sums of money at players. But it's still a huge gamble for Potter I think.

By Willkiller Go To PostI really wouldn't rule out Potter turning Chelsea downDon't see why he would, even if it goes tits up for him at Chelsea he'll easily find another PL club to take him.

I think for him to take it he'll want certain assurances that he'll be able to make fundamental changes to the way the club works because that is what has facilitated such a good time at Brighton. If Chelsea are willing to do that (and it sounds like they are) then I think he'll go.
By Willkiller Go To PostI really wouldn't rule out Potter turning Chelsea downHe’ll take it. Never know if the big club train will come back again.
Chelsea getting Potter would really, really suck.

'were you nervous starting your first CL game?'
'no I wanted to give my players confidence'
this fucking 18 year old lmao
incredible lad
By Laboured Go To PostSounds like he has a buyout clause.Pray for Brighton.
By Scum Go To PostPray for Brighton.Potter is a genuinely exceptional coach so they’ll be in serious trouble losing him, but they must have some real talent behind the scenes as well so it may not be their death knell just yet. I kind of wonder if Poch would take the job. He obviously made his coaching name at Soton and Everton had Ancelloti and Rafa recently so big name coaches can be lured to top half teams..
By Laboured Go To Post:lol they're trying to give this the veneer it was all planned and organised. All after a spending spree. It’s going to be great to see a new manager get the best out of Auba, Sterling, and 9 defenders.
Said last season he would be gone in this one but glad it happened this late though, that’s CL hopes gone!
By TheArsenal Go To PostThat's Potter's England career fucked
Because he's obviously too talented for an international job?

There was a thread at purple about a guy who spontaneously got a plane ticket to Istanbul. People giving him good advice on where to eat gave me a yearning for one.
Drove to Antalya restaurant in Coventry and bought one.

Jelly.
I bought a chicken kebab from a place that was only open for like a month and it came on a lahmacun. I had no idea wtf it was at the time but it was sensational and now nowhere around here does them since they closed.
Now you know one of the greatest recent tragedies in my life.

By rerixo Go To Postsacking a manager right after backing him with £270m looks hilarious but potter would be an incredible upgradeTo be fair, the guys they brought in were mostly just players who you'd expect to be able to perform in any system along with a few budding talents.
By Burt The Samurai Go To Postallah noLooks like he signed a new deal two days ago after previously signing a new one in November. Probably went from a nominal number to one like €30-40m at least with that quick of a renewal.
