BOSTON CELTICS*
WILLIE CAULEY-STEIN, C
KENTUCKY, JUNIOR | 7-0, 240
[Trade: Celtics acquire No. 6 pick from Kings in exchange for No. 16, No. 28 and No. 33 pick.] With Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins in place and having taken Nik Stauskas last season, the Kings could pass on a slew of top-notch wings and frontcourt types and deal the pick to a team like Boston in order to acquire more assets. The Celtics roster features several skilled young bigs, but none with the ability to anchor a defense like Cauley-Stein. He’ll thrive alongside a solid guard corps and help push Boston’s rebuild forward.

Knicks and Sacramento would like to announce a trade.
Knicks get: Justise Winslow and a conditional 2017-2018 2nd rounder
Sacramento gets: Emmanuel Mudiay

By The Frankman Go To PostKnicks and Sacramento would like to announce a trade. So we won 17 games this year for a guaranteed role player and a 2nd round pick? Bruh... We need to try and get a franchise player, no gurantee that Mudiay will be that but he has the greatest chance out of the guys we can pick from. What's your issue with Mudiay?

So Chad Ford's new mock has Towns #1 still but he points out that everything he's hearing says Flip wants Okafor. Would be pretty awesome if that happens.
By Moris Go To PostBlackAce is gonna be picking for The Pistons.
Hornets-Slaent up after that.
Hornets going to draft either Dekker, Kaminsky or Booker.
Did you skip Denver?

In real life Phil will do better than a second round pick if they move down from top 4.
We're not getting a big haul unless we move way back. And if one of the teams right behind the Knicks is willing to give up anything good just to move into the top four then we probably shouldn't be trading the pick in the first place.

Don't need any athleticism when you've got a 9'4" standing reach and can shoot.
Just stand near the rim on defense and stand behind the three point line on offense and boom, great player.
By DY_nasty Go To Posty u do this
why wouldn't I?
By DY_nasty Go To PostBut Detroit needs a stretch 4
Blackace
pls
Det needs a starting SF

I can't tell if Kristaps is going to be Channing Frye with very good defense (which would be really nice) or Yi, what do people who watched him this year think?

By diehard Go To PostYou'll get Dekker or Kaminsky and like it.Oh look, diehard likes a white basketball player and he wants him on the Jazz.
I mean you guys can pick whoever. I don't think vire knows too much about the draft either.
Ph33 doesnt post much, superkool either.

Hey Ace

I think Indiana gets a center. If Hibbert stays the pick is the future Center, if Hibbert leaves the pick is the present Center. They got to go Turner.
By IWMTB19 Go To PostFUCK YOU GUYS >:(((((((((((
front like you aren't hype for Gobert to Kaminsky treys
Came down to Trey Lyles or Myles Turner.
I am a bigger fan of Myles Turner, so I say the Pacers pick Myles Turner.

By Moris Go To PostReally picking a PF?
Yes? We don't have a need for another wing (seriously, a wing on our team would get like ten minutes next year) and I don't like Payne or Grant at PG nearly as much as Portis at PF. Our frontcourt needs another guy other than Favors and Gobert and both of those guys are centers.
Yeah, but Portis is still a pretty good fit (46% from three doesn't mean much, but he still shows potential there) and I like him more than Lyles and Frank.
By knux-future Go To PostLyles would be a better fit than Portis,no?
or Frank the Tank, not even trolling.
Don't give him no ideas!
Ya'll clowning on Portis but I think it's a travesty that most mocks don't have him in the Top 10. To put him behind Frank and Lyles is just plain disrespectful. As a 20-year old, he has the least amount of glaring shortcomings compared to those two and among others that he has a chance to legitimately improve upon. He'll actually be able to stay on the floor in the NBA, giving him the best chance to reach his full potential.
Some team will be getting away with robbery if he falls to the late lottery/out of the lottery.

By knux-future Go To PostHe's a pretty bad athlete and his range really only stretches out to the college 3.
Frank is an atrocious athlete and Lyles is below average though. Portis is already capable from mid-range and shows promise from deep. He'll be able to defend 4s and 5s better than the latter two, which will give him more minutes that he'll need to expand his post-game and develop his range.
Portis isn't a great shooter now and definitely won't be able to make NBA 3s right away or anything like that, I just think he has the potential to do so.
He's just good at a lot of different things and seems to love basketball, he'll find a way to develop some of his skills to where he's a good player I think.
