Thought Atlanta mostly outplayed Cleveland in terms of getting the shots they wanted. But that doesn't matter when JR Smith goes white hot on the worst shots possible. It happens and they got burned on the wrong night.

Apparently Hawks when 2/15 on "wide open" jumpers in the 2nd half. Cleveland was 5/10 on contested 3s. Sometimes the game is just cruel.

I think the shitty calls in the 3rd quarter along with JR's run fucked with the Hawks minds. Not blaming refs here people, saying Hawks weren't mentally strong enough at that moment to overcome it as a title team should. Also hated Bud's rotations. Though, they settled down in the 4th but man the damage was already done.

If the teams get the same shots next game, I expect Atlanta to win. But without Carroll, I can't expect the same shots for both teams so it's pretty bad for Atlanta. Cavs sure do look weak. I really hope the Dubs run them out the building.

ATL hasn't given anyone a reason to believe they can consistently win games this whole postseason. ALL of their fluidity in the regular season is gone. Their offense can't work through playoff intensity. Its just amazing to watch them off the rails without a chance of getting back on.

I mean, it's pretty much what everyone said could happen. Korver can be stopped in the playoffs. this allows for them to be attacked in other ways.

Of course, no Thabo has really hurt their D IMO. But yeah, their system and type of players work well for regular season but in the playoffs other things matter.

Of course, the Cavs D is shit and looked like shit tonight which gives the Hawks an actual opening. I really feel like this is more like a normal 1st round series. Maybe 2nd round. Definitely not conference finals.
