We've been offered Morata lol. Although do absolutely understand ETH wanting a more physical kind of striker.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostMcFrediot midfield pls
Rolls of the tongue really, please Allah make it happen. In years to come people will talk of McFrediot as they did with Busquets/Xavi/Iniesta.
By Killer7 Go To Post
This would be jokes. No way City would let him leave with no replacement lined up.
Barca already putting that 4th palanca to good use. Just need Pique, Busquets and De Jong to play for free now.

Morata would thrive under Ten Hag's soft touch. Smart player who can link up with other forwards. Plus he's PL proven. Just need the Glazers to stop being cheap for once and pay the 70M to get him.
By Laboured Go To PostAh, well, at least there's errr *flips through notes*… Will, what we saying about Sean Longstaff?
Please have him

By rossonero Go To PostPå tal om Midtjylland, what are your thought about Onyedika?
He surprised me last season, seeing as he had just been loaned out to a real shit club in the lower divisions. Good player, but hardly a top 10 player talent wise in the Danish league imo, so if you are asking because of Milan interest... I would not say he is good enough for that. But who knows, he did develop extremely quickly the last years time.
By Willkiller Go To PostGerrard is doing a pretty shit job at Villa, flying under the radar a bit I think…
Played 29
Won 10
Drawn 5
Lost 14
And that's with 80 million spent since he took over…
Yeah it has been shit. But but but he won the scottish league.
Broadhead signing for Wigan instead of us because he shit himself over the way Stewart and Simms played against Bristol is peak bitch. Good player but doesn't have the strength to make the most of it.

By Laboured Go To PostSounds like he'd be a / the Frenkie alternative.Hmmm, pretty good alternative Tbf.
Jose was a cunt, but he was right.
By Punished Go To PostI'm not sure any of the De Jong alternatives play much like him.
Kind of agree and tbf it's ETH's view that trhere aren't any CMs on the market other than Frenkie that really does what he does (and certainly not to his level).
United the only club to sack 3 managers because they refuse to believe McTominay is shit. Fergie said to play him, what can you do.

The reason E10H wants FDJ is that he's unique.
In the light of day, SMS is the best alternative by the fact of being a good midfielder.

By Andrew Go To PostI think the 'right player' approach held more water when he wasn't chasing marko arnautovic
In fairness Arnautovic was proposed as a cheap short term cover buy, rather than someone integral to the first XI.
PSG and Barcelona are absolute jokes and a shame bestowed upon football, but somehow UTD manages to be an even bigger joke. We getting close to BUM status
I guess I understand the concept that Frenk is unique in skillset (verifying that is different, but let it pass), but he managed twice as long at Ajax without him.
There has to be an understanding that he can play without Frenkie. Surely the falloff in options isn't Frenkie to Rabiot/MSM/Other stylistically different players?

Ten Hag not willing to adapt his style and square peg someone into a FDJ-shaped hole sounds like a bad idea imo
If it’s FM, I’m paying 150 million for Rice and winning the league. What do I know though, I’ve only won the premier league ten times ahem. 🧢
By Daz Go To PostIt's nuts that we're not tapping up the Portuguese Market.I said many times United should have gone for Palhinha, he put an excellent performance against Liverpool for Fulham, even was on some team of the week choices.

i get it for like $20 at the store
And I get a banana for like 10$ but what you gonna do, Brexit happened.

Rabiot's not seen as an alternative, but as to any others, yes, his view is everyone else on the market who plays in that kind of role is a reasonable drop-off compared to Frenkie.
Although I do also agree - and I have been banging this drum all summer - we should have known the exact profile and had tonnes of options ready. Reading between the lines, we've been working on a lot of options behind the scenes if FdJ doesn't happen, but ETH seems to be of the view he wants FdJ and only when that cannot happen will he consider the alternatives seriously. It's a bit of an odd situation.
