That's nice and all. But guy was shit. Here's a real footballer.
Dame in Danish = Woman.
'So nice down here, Larsen. We just need one thing really... really need some women around here. Just one nice woman at this pool...'
*Dame N'Doye in full kit appears*
By WoodenLung Go To PostPå tal om Midtjylland, what are your thought about Onyedika?
What a club
Gerrard is doing a pretty shit job at Villa, flying under the radar a bit I think...
Played 29
Won 10
Drawn 5
Lost 14
And that's with 80 million spent since he took over...

Yeah was just thinking about this. Also seems to have got into some kind of contention with Tyrone Mings too now.
By barber Go To PostI'm not sure Rabiot is even better than Fred…
He 100% isn't, he's fucking wank.
ETH actually wanting him is a massive red flag
United have let go of Matic, Pogba and Mata in midfield. Eriksen replaces Mata, though he looked better in the second half than as a false 9.
If McFred are to be treated as depth, they both need replacing. I'd rather watch Savage-Iqbal learning than persist what hasn't worked in the past.

Genuine question. How much have you watched Rabiot since he moved to Juventus three seasons ago? Because he’s played 129 times for them and I know I haven’t watched them once outside of maybe two or three CL games.
All the debate about his character is absolutely fair game, and is an indication we shouldn’t sign him. But there seems to be a vast contingency of people who apparently have watched Juventus consistently during his time there that I did not know existed.
I saw a line about how he made the most pressure regains of any Juventus player last year, prompting James Horncastle of the Athletic to say, "imagine Timothee Chalamet possessed by the spirit of Scott McTominay."
For £15m I'm whatever about Rabiot. It's a very low fee for a 27yo France international CM who might at least know how to play CM.
I don't love it, I suspect he's merely alright and I expected much more creative thinking about CMs this summer given who is available even now.

Probably more than you think. I've watched a few of the bigger Juve Serie A games over the last few seasons, watched a good chunk of their CL matches and obviously for France i'm pretty sure he played every game in the Euros last year (watched every game).
So enough to form my own opinion that I've never liked him as a player, which is then backed up by a ton of pretty damning assessments from fans of the teams he plays for etc etc
I've been on the Rabiot is shit train for a long time
legendary fuck up george is already fucking up and they're sick of him before september

She's just using it to push his wages up, in a move as old as time.
As someone who has seen a bit of Rabiot, he is shit. However, I think the destroyer of locker rooms wherever he goes is a bit over the top. He hasn’t been that much of a cunt at Juve.
By Cleff Go To PostIs Gakpo any good?
Still have trauma over the last Eredivisie wide forward we signed.
talented, but will need at least another season at psv to even think about his next move.
if he'd leave now, that'd be way too soon
Hilarious what's "holding back" Rabiot (and his mother) from signing is CL football. As if Juventus have any real chance at winning it.
Throw some more cash at him (and his mother).
What is absolutely nuts though is United trying to sign trash players like this, sheesh.

i've seen rabiot a bunch of times in the champions league. i was... whelmed.
if anything, he seems like a slightly more sophisticated cleverly.
the current bar at united seems to be "as long as he's not as bad as what we already have, we'll take him! "

On the one hand you're right that sucks, on the other the reason we still have McFred is because we only wanted (very expensive) players that were hugely better than them.
I'm not saying you're wrong just saying there's a balance to be struck somewhere in there. And you needn't ask why we're not shelling out for the expensive ones because we answered that yesterday.

I'm fine with us signing Rabiot provided he isn't the only midfield recruitment this summer. He seems like a better McTominay. What we need is a player comfortable at picking the ball up from deep areas and progressing it forward.

Being at a CL club is like being a part of the inner circle. I think Rabiot would probably worry that if he joins United and they don’t qualify this year, it could be several more seasons of the same.
