what is keeping a rich club like united from spending 200 million on new players?

I mean first of all we have to make sure there's enough money for the Glazers to have their share dividends every year. Then we're incapable of selling players for money. Also the Glazers are cheapskates and don't put a single penny into the club. And we're not in the CL.

Since they bought united with leveraged debt, thy have not put in a cent of their own money into the club - United is a cash cow for them.
not an investment.
OTOH Old Trafford is richer for having beautiful people like the Glazers strutting about it once a year. Think about it lads.
You can't put a pound sign on beauty /bud

Glazers have taken 1 Billion out of the club in 16 years.
They are the best thing to ever happen to our rivals.
Parasites have been killing us from the inside slowly since.

they mad at the time
In the Police Association, chairman Heino Kegel shakes his head at the FCK fans hidden middle finger for law and order.
"It's disgusting. I don't understand why it wasnt taken down immediately.'
"Everyone is familiar with the 'ACAB' abbreviation. You don't have to be a professor to understand that. When you hang something like that, you lack respect for society. It's fine that you have an attitude that the police can be a nuisance,' he says and continues:
Peaceful protests are going to accomplish nothing, have to cost people money or make them scared for their lives.
Ryan Giggs head-butted his former partner after subjecting her to a “litany” of physical and psychological abuse over three years, a court has heard.
The former Manchester United and Wales footballer, 48, “entirely lost his self-control” and attacked his then partner, Kate Greville, and elbowed her sister in the jaw during an argument about his alleged infidelity, jurors were told.
The fight at their home in Worsley, Greater Manchester, followed three years of “systematic and at times violent abuse” of Greville, 36, by the retired footballer, the jury heard.
The trial at Manchester Minshull Street crown court heard details of expletive-laden and threatening messages Giggs sent his former partner. One email, after Greville had blocked Giggs on social media, read: “Please unblock me. All this blocking malarkey is poo. Promise no more naked piccies.”
Another email accused Greville of telling “LIES LIES LIES” and said: “Only an evil horrible cunt does that. Absolutely astonishing. Now I look an utter twat after telling three of my friends I’m going to Scotland at the weekend.” Giggs added: “I’m so fucking mad now I’m scaring myself because I could do anything.”
Kate Greville (just in case Crusher asks).
Seems eerily similar to the messages I get from Wooden.
Prosecution say Ryan Giggs sent messages with the subject 'c***'.
We've invited Giggs back to Old Trafford multiple time since he was charged with domestic abuse. Shit show of an organisation.
By Xpike Go To PostDoes this mean we can sign a midfielder now.

Roma are interested in Manchester United's Adrien Rabiot. However, they do not want to pay the £6m fee and would prefer a loan with no obligation to purchase the player. United need Rabiot's wages off their books as they continue their pursuit of Ajax's Mohammed Kudus.
The club are unwilling to meet the Dutch champions' €45m asking price, but remain hopeful that a deal can be struck after Fred's free transfer to Corinthians is finalised. The former Brazilian international is set to be excluded from this weekend's game against relegation rivals Everton, while United captain Scott McTominay is set to return following his three-match suspension.
Speaking of Giggseh, Rabiot too was a City youth player for a bit so at least that would spice the signing up some.

I still maintain these types of goals are WAYYYY overblown, nearly always examples of poor keeping rather than something amazing from the scorer

I like them when they're drilled like that
Lofted ones can get in the bin, and ones where the keeper either falls over or gets a touch.

“Looking at the likely relegation teams, a few names that would probably be worth looking at: Max Aarons, Pierre Lees-Melou, Joao Pedro (maybe), Ismaila Sarr, Emmanuel Dennis, Tarkowski (would be shocked if someone didn't get him), Nick Pope and Cornet -- probably a few others. Cornet and Aarons are probably the two most likely to be targeted by Top 6 type teams.”
Lees-Melou, Tarkowski, Pope, Cornet went. Surprised Aarons is still at Norwich. Watford have done a good job holding on to their players after the relegation though.

A few summers ago United made some sort of bullshit loan offer for Sarr when it became obvious we couldn't sign Sancho.
God, I'd forgotten that balls up of a window. Incredible how we do this so often.

Nearly in even without the bounce — just a very pure hit. Agree that in general they’re not worthy of goal of the season hype though since they can’t happen without keeper error.

I'm quite surprised we haven't gone for Sarr, we desperately need a RW with a goal threat. Feels like a deal could be done pretty easily with them in the Championship and still holding on to a lot of their better players.
By Laboured Go To PostI mean after today's rumours I'll fucking take it.
