Didn't realise Arnautovic had a deep connection with McLaren/Ten Hag, played for both at Twente and did really well. That transfer makes a lot more sense, ETH knows the player is compatible with his system. The club should back him and get him the player he wants at any cost. Don't try lowball, offer Bologna 50M. Also need to push more for Ziyech, Wooden is ready to drive him straight to Old Trafford.
Stating the obvious, but Arnautović is a panic buy made by a club who said they'd a plan and would no longer do such things.
And again it's all down to the Glazers. They wanted Ronaldo without taking into consideration that he wasn't a good fit for the side. He pitches a fit, demands out and we're left floundering. It wouldn't be as big in issue if we were able to spend the money we generate. But they have a hard cap on signings because they want to cream off the top.

We'd be better off targeting Memphis. I don't think he's particularly great, but he's far better than a washed Arnautović and is available to sign.
Even Charlie McNeill from the youth side would be a better option than wasting money on a washed up racist who was only ever decent in the PL during his prime.

He's just a genuinely appalling footballer. Actively avoids the ball and fucks it up entirely when we're unfortunate enough to see him with it at his feet.
He should have been red carded after an attempted pass today. That's how bad his close control is.

United have zero ambition, the signings they’re linked with are horrific. Other teams out here spending £200m on quality players.

Also, great job on the sum up N8. I hope you do this all rounds.
By barber Go To PostSame, man.You only really feel the pain once it's on you. My father since the stroke is on wheel chair for the moment, and the amount of trouble he / we have with mobility is insane. You never really realise til it happens with you. This is fucked up for an organization like Manchester United.
The club even fucked up the redesign of the Stretford End - they forgot to add in wheelchair bays.
By n8 dogg Go To PostIf we sign Arnautovic I’ll shoot myself in a Pizza Hut on live televisionWill join you
Glad United is reaching it's logical conclusion as a suicide death cult. Let us go to the promised land, brothers.

By Daz Go To PostTenHagen's GateI've seen things you people wouldn't believe... Eriksen playing as false 9 in the first match of the season... I watched Fred and McTominay embarrassing themselves in midfield. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain... Time to die. - Erik Ten Hag, probably
wtf at that pen not given today, where martinez just goes through a brighton player. impressed he could do that despite his twi... ehm... willkiller stature. but that is a pen lmao
Absolutely nothing on that United goal though, Sanchez angry boi for no good reason, other than himself fucking up.

Man, it was all so unsurprising huh :lol
United had 63% possession against Brighton and our central midfielder played 19 successful passes. It's fucking infuriating that he constantly gets away with it.

Hes so small 🤗🥰 welbeck bullied him basically every time the ball came around.
I don't get why United just don't sign some centre or defensive mids. Like anybody that's played in the EPL. Doesn't really matter if they fit into ETHs plans, they're going to fit better than McTom will. Even with Frenkie, they'd still need another signing in midfield.
After our performance I attempted to correct the course in my head using manager mode in FIFA. FIFA sucks though, I shall try football manager.

Wasn't beaten in the air or moved off the ball and he ruined Welbeck and got away with a pen call.
Neither CB was really the issue today. We conceded both goals through our central midfielders (McTominay) getting dispossessed high up the pitch and leaving the entire central area of the pitch exposed to counter attacks.
Lisandro and Maguire made mistakes, but that's to be expected when your midfield gives you no support and every choice they're faced with is a bad one.

I wish United were like Chelsea. They’re not afraid to own up to their expensive mistakes and take big losses, see Lukaku and Werner. Not good enough, would probably have stayed at United for 5-6 years.
United did sell Lukaku pretty fast but probably only because they got most of their money back. Definitely wouldn’t have took the €90m loss like Chelsea have.

Martinez was the better of the two CBs, he is quick and sticks well to his mark. Also had some good technique. He’s clearly a quality player, if the fact that Arsenal and United were willing to pay so much for him wasn’t evidence enough.
He got lucky not to give away a pen and had a few other iffy moments though.

I would say this was a bad prediction. He got 12 league goals last season and helped Brentford comfortably stay up.
