By Oddinho Go To Post😂😂😂😂Header that is going wide gets turn into a penalty, a missed kick back heel deflects back to him and goes into the top corner, a miss touch turned into a assist.
His movement is world class but he has been very lucky.
2-2 is an awful result for the opening game for us, but given we came from behind twice and the goals are from Salah and Nunez, it feels like a point won rather than 2 lost.
It could have been much worse.

What is that if not bad calls?

deserved point for Fulham
based on epl previews I did not expect that
And mitrogoal might just do it this time around in the epl

Bright side is Darwin looks like he will get into a lot of goal scoring opportunities

A result I fear we'll be bemoaning next May. Could have been much worse given the state of that first half performance, annoying to throw our big chance of winning the game away straight after our first equaliser. Hopefully look much sharper in 9 days time, can't see City dropping enough points over the season to let us get away with many more results like that.
By FootbalIFan Go To Post@epl m8s which 3pm game is the one to watch? They're all a bit shit, look like either easy home wins, or games between teams that will finish mid-table at best.
I'll probably be sleeping to it anyway but yeah
Nottingham Forest might be interesting but can quite easily see them being a pile of shite.

Newcastle v Forest (never seen them in PL) or Spurs v Soton look most attractive. There's always a chance of a Lolspurs appearance.

I do think we were a tad unlucky with both the Fulham goals, on another day, the first could have easily been ruled out for a foul on Trent, and the second was a dive. He got caught on Virgil’s knee only after he had started going down. I think it was a situation where they thought it wasn’t clear enough to overrule the ref’s original decision.
The ref (or VAR) not going our way doesn’t excuse the way we looked unprepared for the level of “clever” physicality in the first half. It’s a Marco Silva team, it’s how they always played when he was in the PL before.

darwin will be a good 70th minute sub for liverpool, but for 75 million euros, i'd expect a bit more.
lad's technically poor.

Could be bad calls. But the real hilarious part is the victim position you're already in, with ref decisions only going against you. Even funnier when you havent even seen the pen.

Yeah OK m8
Last season was decided by a single point. City benefitted from a shocking call against Everton which would have been enough for the win. So it shouldn't be a surprise that a 50-50 pen and an 80-20 foul in their favour is pretty dispiriting.

Dont worry though, West Haram will put PEDs FC to the sword.
I actually think the general 50/50 calls tended to go towards Liverpools side. And the penalty was a penalty. But the foul on the first goal was probably a bad call.
But I'm sure City get bad calls too whenever they drop points, considering how dominant they are, that's what it typically takes for them to drop points

Just remembered when I saw both of Forest's stars on their crest that they're two-time European champions, something Arsenal can't claim and same as Juventus.

Think it’s fine to acknowledge that some calls can go either way on any given day, and at the same time recognise that if you find yourself in a position where you are relying on those calls then you simply haven’t played well enough.
Lots of our lads were nowhere near good enough today. That said, the continuous Darwin slander is absolutely baffling me, we looked so much better with him on the pitch and he managed both a goal and an assist in 40 mins with the team around him playing like shit.
