By Cleff Go To PostNew Arctic Monkeys single was released today. Reminds me a lot of a Richard Hawley song. Alex Turner is a huge fan so that makes sense.
Meier won't be happy
Meier v Hixx round 2 incoming
By Willkiller Go To PostMeier won't be happyIt's a good tune, I think. Definitely a follow on from 'Tranquility' in terms of tempo. I don't think we'll ever see another 'AM' from them. They were in their mid 20's and were all in on that heavier sound.

These guys are in their mid 30's now and different music appeals to them. They stopped writing songs about discos and going out on the lash after Favourite Worst Nightmare. Now they're going for strings and softer music. It's good they're evolving.

A lot of the early talk was that there was going to be a lot more guitars on this record compared to TBHC, obviously not in this one but I think there's going to be a good variety still. But yeah I like that first track, it's very 70s.

Overall, I think the transition to a a new sound is the way to go though.
rerixo was the only person to correctly predict Parker to be the first manager sacked.
He did also predict Spurs to win the league

I miss old Arctic Monkeys.
And Elneny being injured long-term is a huge blow. At least we can act in the market though.

Don’t know a great deal about Antony but I’ve decided he’s flop of the summer and feels like the sort of transfer early City would have done.

I fully expect, and hope, him to take the mantle of worst recent signing away from Pepe.
At least Pepe looked somewhat decent in the highlights I saw of him. Antony doesn’t even have any.
By Cleff Go To PostWith respect, Shanks. Your opinion on footballers is wildly shit.
I tried to warn you about Ronaldo but some of you didn’t listen.
I’m always willing to hold my hands up when I make a mistake.
I guess I will bookmark this for next summer.

Got a terrifying feeling it’s Pepe 2.0 for sure. Lightweight and can’t cut it in a stronger league.
I say this having only watched about 10 Ajax games in the last five years.
Klopp telling the club fan accounts to fuck off is nice. They chat shit 99.9% of the time and whip up fervour against certain players for no reason. Mark Goldbridge is United's version. Would be fantastic if his opinions were shut off forever.
By Punished Go To PostJones, Matip, Ramsey all back in training and Jota to be back at the end of the week. Good news.are you ready for the fireworks friend?
By Vini.lad Go To PostThey were called Atlético but change their Crest and their name recently to Atheltico to differentiate themselves from the biggest Atlético in the country, the Mineiro, current Brasileirão champion. Everytime people would write Atlético, almost automatically everyone would associate with Mineiro instead of them (Paranaense), so they changed to Athletico.Interesting insight -- thanks Vini!
This is surprising. Heard Akanji has been underwhelming recently and not lived up to the expectations. Cheap price though so why not?
By Diego! Go To PostNeymar in the prem, he'll be tumbling around the pitch after every touch.
Why not both?

By FortuneFaded Go To PostRespekt. Mane cleaning up all that haram.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostThe Chairman Mao look. Cool.
Get those pints off the two in the top left though. Let's see some IDs.
By Laboured Go To PostOh go on u fucks. Season long loan with an obligation to buy. Everyone's happy. We really need to see how FF#3 feels about this.
By Xpike Go To Postwe need a CM more than ever now, Edu has 2 days to see if we're serious about competingWho would be a good CM to bring in that could fill in that defensive role? How much do Wolves want for Neves?
Prob with Antony to me isn't his weight but how lacking in directness he can be. All that space and time he has right now won't exist in the PL
By bud Go To Postparker’s been sacked, i see. They've only spent like 25m too. Man had absolutely zero chance to keep his job.
beat villa; lost to city, arsenal and liverpool.
seems unfair.

Kind of bummed we don't do big player reveal vids anymore, we pioneered that shit.
Oh well.
Happy Antony day
If ETH doesn't plat the holy Antrinity front 3 at some point, he should be sacked.

i guess they didn’t like him and just wanted an excuse to get rid. fired him after playing against three of the top four teams…
at least give the man a run of ten matches or something.

Parker knew he’d be sacked for results eventually because their squad is so weak and the owner didn’t spend so he kept calling the owner out. I can imagine he tried to accelerate his sacking himself knowing it’d keep his reputation more intact.
By Cleff Go To PostDecent analysis on what to expect from Antony. Also makes a good point about allowing Sancho to link up with Shaw/Malacia on the left. Players whose profiles link up with Jadon, better than Dalots does. There's an older tifo video on Sancho and how his linkup play had suffered with our fullbacks. Basically has to carry the ball from deeper and doesn't get enough touches in the final third half spaces to be as effective as he was for Dortmund. This has hurt his productivity immensely.
This was before ETH, so you can really see progress in the past couple of games with this exact issue. Malacia and Dalot this season are better coached to do exactly that so Sancho I believe can have a much better season.
By bud Go To PostMou used to have the best banter. Imagine an All or Nothing behind the scenes during Mou's best seasons, at Inter or his first spell at Chelsea. Glorious.
the algorithm wanted me to see this again.
this was ruthless.
i feel sorry for frank.
