By sohois Go To PostThey sure showed him, they definitely won't get relegated now
Not like they've even had that bad of a start. That might seem silly coming off the back of a 9-0 defeat, but they essentially have their Championship side and they've played Man City, Arsenal and (a very angry) Liverpool as 3 of their 4.
They beat Villa in the only fixture they've had where they had a realistic chance of getting some points and knocked Norwich out the EFL cup.
By KP Go To PostParker probably enhancing his reputation there
Agreed. Knew the club hadn’t done enough. Must have felt like shit looking at what Fulham and especially Forest are doing.

Leicester - Villa next weekend. El Sackico. Although there's a very good chance one or both of Brendan/Gerrard will be gone by then.
By Punished Go To PostThey should sack the chairman!

Posting again because I don’t believe I gained the right amount of appreciation the first time #justice4n8
By Punished Go To PostIt was a shocking cardigan at the weekend, to be fair.
Was it not... the same cardigan?
By Laboured Go To PostWas it not… the same cardigan? What do you mean? He's got a favourite cardigan that he wears all the time?

He had 38 of the same cardigan for each match day.
Hope flannels does returns.

Is this the new PS5 revision?
Isak's work permit STILL hasn't arrived, no guarantees it will for the Liverpool match either. Cheers Brexit boys you fucking dumb cunts.
Yup, I'd take Isaak's reverb-laden rockabilly revivalist style and wide vocal range over Isak's finishing ability any day.

Wait what
Do arsenal not have youth they can go to to replace Elneny instead of buying someone? They have Xhaka, Partey, Lokonga, Odegaard, and Zinchenko who can all play there right?

Loaning everyone.

Decent analysis on what to expect from Antony. Also makes a good point about allowing Sancho to link up with Shaw/Malacia on the left. Players whose profiles link up with Jadon, better than Dalots does.
Sancho has been playing well enough this season. Bringing Antony in does allow a better balance to the team. Strengthens both wings overall.
He's played genuinely well in precisely one match from four as far as I can tell
Maybe he was exceptionally tidy against Southampton, don't recall him popping up in any of the short highlights.
Was completely anonymous against Brighton and Brentford, but got the 'his teammates are all shit and don't give him the ball' excuse we've become accustomed to.

Played well against Southampton imo. Big part in the creation of our goal and played some good stuff on the counter. We still have issues in how we build up attacks and in getting the ball to our forwards in threatening areas. But compared to last season we've improved.

Romeu available
Antony confirmed.
Probably won't see him play until after the Arsenal game. Judging by the way Casemiro has been eased into the side anyway.

Hahaha
Been clear we've needed another midfielder all of last season, it shouldn't have taken a couple of injuries for the club to realise that.
We've had a good transfer window in terms of the quality of players signed. No semblance of a plan to it and we clearly panicked at bad results and overspent to a huge degree. But we got the right profile of players in the end, I think.
Three good players aged 22, 22 and 24 with the potential to improve more, and two PL/CL proven 30 year olds who will hopefully provide a calming influence. It's a good balance.
But the league is now so strong player and coaching wise, that I'm not sure we're even close to challenging for top 4 yet. Ten Hag needs a season to bed in his methods and the squad still lacks quality at GK, CM and striker.

New Arctic Monkeys single was released today. Reminds me a lot of a Richard Hawley song. Alex Turner is a huge fan so that makes sense.

Club being idiot. Don’t want to pay Leicester.
