Antony day today, what a signing. 100m might seem steep at first but when you really look into it, it might be the deal of the century. Brazilian international, Ajax pedigree, will effortlessly fit in ETH's system, can do things that Sancho can't do and make it look very simple, this is the final piece of the jigsaw we're looking at.
Look at his slick skills against Benfica, Rvy boys still haven't recovered.
Golden boot race this season : Antony > Isak > Erling Braut > Grinta Carroll

Cant believe Laporta sent an armed gang to Aubameyang’s place to pressure him over the Chelsea move.
These palancas are getting out of hand.

By Cleff Go To Post85% of his wages? I'd love to sign Osimhen, but that's taking the piss.
Would still bite their hand off for that (not that the Glazers are willing to spend our money on that but whatevs).
Signing Dubravka (even just on a loan) leaves such a bitter taste because it tells us we're just completely ignoring the skill set our keepers need now.

Frenkie who? Bring me O’Riley.
Danish legend
Remember when Chelsea signed him for £18m and everyone said well that's probably canny since they'll still be able to turn a profit on him.

I think he is fantastic, but he is always injured. I don’t think he has ever played more than 30 league games.

No. I remember people being pretty meh about it.

I certainly figured they'd find a way to at least break even on him in the absolute worst case scenario. I'm surprised to see he played 100 games total for Chelsea.. 48 of those in the 18-19 season though. I guess in City's case with Rodwell, at least the loss was minimal. Everton do a decent job of cutting loose their trainees at the right time I guess (since Rooney at least).
Speaking of Rodwell.. he's playing in Australia now. He was at Sheffield United recently for 1.5 years and played 2 games for them apparently.

That wasn't a gotcha, it was something I remember people discussing at the time and which I actually kinda agreed with given Chelsea's ability to profit from player sales. Surprised they didn't manage it with him.

Sheesh, what a ball by Riqui Puig. Chicharito almost fucked this up -- couldn't get it out from under his feet initially.

By Laboured Go To PostGotta say I'd rather him out even if we don't get anyone else in.
Welcome to
Mowbray it is.
Probs averages about a 40% win ratio in the Championship which would be fair enough for us at this stage.

It might elongate the process, but it'll stop you getting relegated at least.

By domino Go To PostI saw this the other day. Don't live the collar, but this is a buy. This might beat the black shirt as the best selling mexico shirt ever.
Hard
5 players in and still feels like half a window.
Not enough players out either. Not the right ones at least.
