lovely hit
AntHony has a contract till 2025, Ajax has no reason to sell,. Money is useless as you cannot spend that much on new players (salary structure). So unless you improve, which Hakim probably is, no sell needed.

By inky Go To Postwe'll get him and Ajax will cry all the way to the bank in a bed made of money
Literally
By sohois Go To PostOver the past 6 seasons Shane Long managed 17 goals in 172 appearances for SouthamptonIncredible. Nearly the same scoring record more or less. I guess at least Long was only £12m vs £20m (!).
By Meier Go To PostOliver McBurnie scores for the first time in a league game since December 2020. Incredible. 8 goals in 91 league appearances for them.. has to be the worst return I've ever seen for a striker.
Danny Graham played 51 times for Sunderland.
He scored once.
After months on trying to sign a player that really wasn't that interested, it's refreshing to see how Antony actually wants to play for us. I want us to sign him simply for that tbh.
Luton looked pretty strong in the first half but it's been a very, very boring second half in general.
By Hixx Go To PostDanny Graham played 51 times for Sunderland.Good to know that someone had a worse scoring record than Jozy for you guys.
He scored once.
By markao Go To PostinterlolYou shouldn't go for Ziyech who's on fuck you premier league money if you're concerned about the wage structure... This isn't the reason.

I guess at least Long was only £12m vs £20m (!).McBurnie is almost certainly worse, since all of Long's seasons were in the PL whereas McBurnie is in the championship now. He managed 0 goals last season in the Champ. He is still young though, so maybe it'll turn around.
By bacon Go To PostYou shouldn't go for Ziyech who's on fuck you premier league money if you're concerned about the wage structure… This isn't the reason.Hakim wants to come and is willing to earn a lot less, so not a problem. Similar to Stevie, they want to play footie again.
The problem is absolutely our timing of the bid - it creates a huge inflation on Ajax's replacement. We spent an entire summer ring-fencing a huge part of our budget on a player that was 50/50 on coming and we have behaved stupidly, and Ajax are taxing us for that stupidity.
Glazers also banked on Frenkie being our one and done transfer to appease the fans.
Incredibly surprising that gambit failed lol

By markao Go To PostHakim wants to come and is willing to earn a lot less, so not a problemZiyech was the top earner when he left. It doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things because Haller leaving, who was on fuck you eredivisie money, freed up enough space anyway. Money has got fuck all to do with this.
Antony wants to leave, 90m is INSANE to pass down, Ajax had more than enough time to figure out a Ziyech transfer and multiple alternatives were that deal to fall through.
Ajax don't NEED to sell, but they really ought to.

Ever
Think Ajax might let go if we bid €100m.
Nothing to base that off of other than a feeling that it's a symbolic figure that shows they aren't pushovers in the market.

By scently Go To PostAt this point Ajax should just sell. There is no point keeping a player who refuses to play and you have an Eredivise record bid to buy him.Yeah I don't get it
By Hixx Go To PostDanny Graham played 51 times for Sunderland. You missed out the best part. This was the goal he "scored"
He scored once.

Very late but McSauce the Scottish Ballack is available.
20m rising to 35 (Includes Mourinho tax).
By Fergie Go To PostOh looks like Chelsea needs encouragement to seal the deal pronto

This isn't about whether or not Ajax needs to sell. At this point they just should. Or they should tell Man U the amount that they want and stop this bid and reject cycle.

By inky Go To PostThey probably want €100mThen they should communicate that to the club. Of course its also possible they already have.
which we'll be dumb enough to pay

By Laboured Go To PostSounds like ETH is card carrying member of Martial FC.Martial is the only striker we have that can play with his back to goal and can link up with the others. Dude can't stay fit to save his life.
