I don't think anybody here is saying or thinks PSG are CL favourites, but they are definitely playing a lot better than last season. Neymar and GOAT have more freedom and vitinha seems like a good signing. The midfield has less responsibility to score than under pocket tuna. The season has only started, in 2 weeks they could be shit, but so far with the new coach. They're good. Just like Arsenal are currently considered good, because they're doing well and playing better than last season.
Last season every win looked like a struggle or ugly. Even if they were winning 4-0, it was a struggle. Either last minute scrappy goals, losing for 60 minutes vs RandomFrechClub16, winning with a single penalty, getting dominated by random teams etc. They even lost the french super cup to Lille(the team they just played)
So far this season and preseason, they've been a lot better at actually dominating the game and not even close to losing, which is how it should be, considering the competition they face and the value of their team.
