Strange over reaction.
“Great night for the club” says Keane. Lol
By Ushojax Go To PostLiverpool have been frighteningly bad in these early games. Last time they had an injury crisis like this they had a major wobble of a season.
Very Worrying for us.
malacia will only get better as he settles into the squad and the league.
i will seethe if van gaal still picks blind over him in qatar.

By OneTwoTee Go To PostWon't be surprised if we go in for a madness in the closing stages of the transfer windowLooks required. I think you guys need 2 more legit, established first team players.
Special mention to Malacia and Martinez.
Excellent buys.
I never want to see Shaw and send the Fridge to the Bridge.

This is going to be a fucking slow crawl up the table. We look light-years away from being able to win two games on the bounce, never mind six or more. Expect we'll plateau well short of where we hoped.
I think Klopp needs to take a serious look at himself after this. Yes, there has been a horrendous injury crisis, a few ref mistakes, and a bit of plain old bad luck, but the common factor across all three games has come in the first half.
Everytime, Liverpool have set up like a team of jokers. The opposition have done little but turn up and run hard, press high, and then sit back. It's not exactly been elite attacking performances. Players can have the wrong attitude, but for it to occur the same way every time suggests that this is coming from the management. He needs to get a grip

Make no mistake, ETH United has arrived tonight, this a title contending team, massive night for the club.
Great performance but we need to prove its not just a cup final against Liverpool. We had plenty of matches like this against big teams under Ole even.
Varane maybe my MOTM.

Spot on. Conceding within the first 20 mins feels like a given, and it seems every time it stems from the same slack attitude.

Martial best as link man up top. Think Bruno’s chaos football doesn’t gel well enough as possession football tbh.

Yep. Need this against Saints at the weekend. Should be fighting as hard for every ball against every team.
By Fergie Go To PostMartial looks inspired. Whatever Ten Shag is doing keep it up.Does ETH have a daughter? 👀
The Glazers will think they’re off the hook again here.
Show off a new expensive player, good team performance and a great win. The stadium didn’t collapse. All is well!
Up to United fans to make sure that’s not the case in the near future.

you went from mane to... darwin.
for 100 million euros, that is genuinely one of the most baffling transfers in the history of the game.
salah can't make up for mane's loss.
are liverpool looking into strengthening their front line?

Hard to choose.

Times like these it’s frustrating because it’s easy to feel like we’re doing nothing behind the scenes, when we have access to 1% of the information the coach does.
I thought Keita was supposed to be ready tonight?
Man U played well tonight but that was the most toothless Liverpool side since Klopp's first season. Trent was shocking, Gomez is way...WAY behind Matip and Konate. That midfield was horrendous and Firmino is done.

You’re not wrong my brother
A poor Liverpool could've had two, yeah. Still a lot to fix defensive-wise.
not gonna tell pool fans how to feel about this, but Kloppo will turn this around.

By Righteous Furry Go To PostI worry that he thinks it's a coincidence that we've conceded first six games in a rowIt's not like it's a terrible strategy, just defend well for 30 mins and then take control of the rest. Fine, if your players are on form. But it was an obvious disaster against this United, who were always going to come out screaming. Just as United benefitted hugely from their goal, Liverpool could have completely sunk them if they'd gone strong from the off.
Yeah Liverpool have come out looking lethargic and complacent in their last few games. Attitude problem but also think that this team could only hit the heights they hit over the past few years because most players performed at 120%. And it's probably not realistic to do that over such a long period, especially now that there massive changes in the squad.
Liverpool best XI is worryingly breaking at the seams now because of old age and injuries, let alone having to rely on the bench which got worse.
Need to hit the market this week and try get 2-3 players who are UNDER 32, can start in the PL and are NOT injury prone. Mostly midfielders, possibly one forward.
Get Bowen, splash the cash on Jude or Declan.

By Crusher Go To PostLiverpool really acting like they don’t have a good team just because Mane is gone???
no, don’t think it’s us Liverpool fans saying that. We’ve got a ton of injuries and the problem really hasn’t been the forward line. Diaz and Salah both did fine with the scraps they were fed. Losing Mane is not at the top of the list of what’s gone wrong. Our setup, our lack of urgency in defending, our midfield being wide open…
Our problems this season have been how we concede goals.
A really interesting week, this one. Not a huge week for anyone (and a terrible week for some of last week’s big performers - the Rhodes bros - and last season’s winner). Another magical Mexican week though. And a new player has entered the game.
