Whew, that was very slick by Martial. Elliott rolling in pain holding his face (?) but then was like oh no I gotta get up.

Fucking rancid to the core. Hard to come away from that feeling good about our chances of any silverware this year.
That was by far the most organised, disciplined performance that I've seen from United since the 20/21 season. There was so much energy in our press and our shuttle runs to get back into position.
To be slightly critical, we absolutely reverted to type and played deep transitional football. It's not the football ETH was brought in to coach, and it's not a style that will win us Championships. But for a backs against the wall performance we couldn't have asked for better.
We need more signings and I hope this win doesn't give the Glazers second thoughts on that. Our wings and midfield put in a huge shift and our depth isn't good enough to expect that every week.

not
But important for Manu and 10H, lots of work still to do (more running) in training
Pool needs quality in midfield

Liverpool have been frighteningly bad in these early games. Last time they had an injury crisis like this they had a major wobble of a season.
A good win. 7/10. There was fight, effort and a few solid performances, and most pleasingly from Ten Hag’s signings (and Varane).
Still concerning we ceded possession so much to a side with a midfield like that. Get Casemiro in there instead of McTominay and Martial back in for Elanga.

Etheria is already here, only took 3 games. Klopp is done, he needs a new team. Should have spent Darwin's money on a proper CM or two.
All very good today. Especially the new boys.
Think sustaining that first half performance for at least 70+ mins is the goal.

The way our midfield just constantly wilted every time the ball came in to the deepest player was pathetic.
Wow
Manchester United are back
Ahead of Liverpool
Imagine with Casemiro and Neto/Antony?
Malacia and Martinez were great
Rashford is back too

United excellent for 20 mins then not a whole lot other than on the break.
Strange over reaction.
“Great night for the club” says Keane. Lol

Like n8 said, we've had this kind of Lazarus performance with every manager. This energy is the minimum demanded going forward.
Takeaways should be:
-individual performances: Malacia, Martinez, Varane to a lesser degree.
-Rashers and Sancho getting on the scoresheet.
-poor performers Maguire, Shaw, Ronaldo benched and not looking back on them.
-integrating Casemiro and new FW quickly into the team.
