By Daz Go To PostMartinez, he may be only 5' 6 but he's been very good.
had one moment where he got easily put aside early in the game.
other than that, he's been sound.
By inky Go To PostMartinez was looking at Bruno like WTF m9
I mean, he did just decide to smash it towards his own goal directly into Martinez. I think that look was warranted
By Pedja Go To PostCasemiro wondering how he's going to get ahead of McTominayCasemiro is there to temporize the game.
Pretty ugly tackle there. Definitely a yellow.
Spider cam just got into the picture there.. but I don't really ever remember seeing a spider cam used in soccer. Interesting.

Not enough on our team who are comfortable playing with the ball. Varane, Malacia, Martinez, Sancho the only ones so far willing to slow it down. Bruno is like the energiser fucking bunny
Don't really see a goal in this at all for Liverpool, things will have to change massively in the 2nd half

it's been there for years, man.
remember the angle during penalty shootouts? that's spider cam.
Very nice half, but the players are fucking knackered already.
No way Liverpool are that bad second half - need a huge defensive performance to hold on.

Fuck me does Bruno F ever shut the fuck up?
Set up for a very tasty second half. Man U been a completely different team.

It feels like our powers have been sapped. Like we just aren’t looking deadly the way we had been the past few years.
United look a hell of a lot better with Varane and Malacia, and most importantly no Ronaldo.
Really hope we make a come back for the sake of our league campaign. We’re already starting off terribly as it is

United weirdly decided to stop playing after 10 mins. Liverpool are impotent but might get a lucky goal at this rate.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostHarvey Elliott is a Foden-level fraud
He’s literally been our only decent player this season.
I find it hard to read too much into this tbh. Ole had a few games where he pulled it out his arse like this. Our attackers suit a game like this. Need them to be better when the onus is on us. Would like to see Martial for Elanga at some point; our interplay so much better around the box with him.
I think that first half regardless of how the game ends is a good sign though for United. If they can keep up that intensity for longer you can see it would be quite effective
Add Casemiro and Neto or Antony and we could be looking at fa cup/Carling cup winners

Milner's squad role would be fine if he wasn't backing up three massively injury-prone players
If anyone at the club thinks it's just bad luck that thiago, keita and ox are out at the same time they need sacking

If Bruno scored that own goal I honestly think we’d be getting relegated. Mentality killer that. Would have been very like us.
I think he really wants to put on a good show as a captain and I think he is, despite that.

Would actually be fine with replacing all three.
By Freewheelin Go To PostI think Mane leaving has affected Liverpool more than we thinkI think injuries especially to midfield have affected them significantly too - although like RF said, it shouldn't be a surprise Keita/Ox/Thiago are injured.
Liverpool seem to turn up to every game thinking its a practice and they can stroll around for the first half. It's bizarre game management
Can't recall us actually creating a big chance this season that didn't have a massive slice of luck involved

I wish refs would be faster to book players for blocking his way and whining and yelling.
I think Diaz is good but he's no Mane, Mane scores 1-2 of the chances he got
Liverpool definitely look like they've lost their soul
