It's about as believable as paying 100m for Antony.
Think Griezmann is available, maybe we should take a punt for like 35m.

Watched all of the Premmy highlights on YouTube
Arsenal package one of the rarities in which one of the teams doesn't have a single attacking highlight
Ruben Neves' hair and beard make him look about 45
Gerrard has completely blown his Liverpool audition, looking more like that lad from American Pie than the kid from ET. Konsa has either massively let himself go over the summer or I'm badly misremembering what his body shape was.
If Zaha can get back to playing off the shoulder of his man and finding the bottom corner like he has these last two games, Palace will be absolutely fine this season

You guys believe this?
The nonsense is only discernible from the reality in hindsight.
By Vini.lad Go To Post135?Almost enough for 1 Illarramendi.

Let’s not kid ourselves, the Illarramendi transfer would be at least 300 m in a post brexit post Corona post Ukraine world
Vini - Jesus - Rodrygo
---- Neymar ----
Casemiro - Fred
Brazil can be so fun this World Cup. Not sure if the above formation can work but I'd love to see it.

You might be correct that the glazers are running you to the ground but you can't complain that they are not (over) spending /jamie
€100m seems bobbins for a player with those numbers in the Netherlands - kind of shocked the Glazers would sanction it.
It's not like they're spending their own money. Maybe it affects the level of dividends they can withdraw, but this scattershot approach to transfers mostly has an impact on other things in the club. Upgrades to Old Trafford and training facilities, beefing up analytics, scouting / recruitment departments, etc.
The club will continue to flounder as long as their transfer strategy centres around big names from established clubs who are close to being past their prime.

By Lego Go To PostPersonally think Felix would be worth any fee and needs rescued from SimeoneFelix is an incredible talent, agreed. I hope he stays in La Liga.

Because they’d rather mollify the fanbase with big signings instead of less flashy but more sustainable things like the stadium and training ground.
The stadium is also getting a huge refurb job done. But that's only because of the protests at the ESL in April 21 which caused the Liverpool game to be postponed. That protest was every bit as much about fans voicing their frustrations of the Glazer ownership as well.
But for those protests they never would have agreed to such expensive work on Old Trafford

Manchester based sources now saying the same as those in the Netherlands. Antony wants to go to United; Ajax are deciding how much they want; Gakpo is an alternative for United.

Tcho did great to win the ball.
By BlindCom Go To PostYeah Pep's "meritocracy" has its downsides. One season you're his favourite player (Sterling, Laporte, Bernardo Silva etc), the next you're benched after a few games.Sterling had the 4th most appearances for City last year but he only started 5 of 12 CL games though and I guess that’s enough to pitch a fit even though Pep constantly talks about there being no guarantees that you’ll start. Meritocracy is a good way to describe it. Ultimately his performances over the last two seasons at City fell off a cliff and so his minutes were down. It happens. City has a small squad but if you’re not stepping up, you can lose starts. He was still getting in almost every game though.
Wish more City players had the balls to kick up a fuss. Bernardo Silva been crying to leave for two seasons now but ends up accepting his role as benchwarmer and play pretty well when called upon. Probably because they are paid royally and guaranteed a lot of trophies. Always thought that someone like Aguero should have left the season following Pep's arrival.
At least Sané, Sterling and Jesus moved on.
Bernardo’s unhappiness was due to Covid and the restrictions on travel and things of that nature. He missed being able to fly to Portugal regularly and to be out and about in town, etc. He's said he’s much happier now. Only Cancelo and Ederson played more minutes than him last season so benchwarmer is a genuinely absurd statement.
I like Sterling as a person but that miss right there is part of the reason he isn’t at City any more. Not reliable enough to play as much as he’d like.
Finally Gallagher starting. His one chance to stay at the club this season, he'd better have the game of his life, rumours that he'll be sent on loan again.

That seems crazy to loan him. Appeared in the first two games( more of a time waste sub) and now a start.
