By Laboured Go To PostUnited being priced around £6bn, although I'm sure the Glazers will just say it's not for sale right now.lol
Pay £6bn to be stuck with £600m in debt
By Cleff Go To PostThe old Arsenal standby
It also won't work because fans don't give a shit about attempts to sign players. They want actual signings.
Best thing about having new managers every few years is that you don’t here the same one go on about players he could have bought ten years ago.

Let Ronaldo go the other way.

Do you really need leaks? At this stage you can write anything and make it sound believable.
Sources say Luke Shaw has been going back for seconds at the pudding line. This ignited a row with Scotty on Tuesday when he made it to the canteen last and there was no more pudding left.

This is so good lmao
Let it all burn. Hope ETH resigns.
If Utd's market cap is $2.1bn.. why would they cost £6bn? I'm not really understanding where the 3x premium comes into play.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostOnly a few days agoI mean.. you'd think it's real name would warrant a mention (Captain Tsubasa). Come on, Academy Arena UTD, get your shit together.
I don't think ETH has the infrastructure around him to do a rebuild at United. A whole group of players who don't want to change or develop, and if he gives in to them, we're left with a team who are happy perpetually playing in the Europa League at best.

Market cap doesn't directly equate to market value. There's a lot more nuance there. It's a huge valuation, but it would have to be...I doubt the Glazers want to sell, but for silly money...

On top of that you have goodwill too.
It wasn't too long ago United had a cap nearing $5bn. They're a money spinning machine even now and the feeling most be that an investor could easily take them back to their heights
I mean if a loss making football club with a relatively small stadium can be sold for £4.25bn then...

By Laboured Go To PostI mean if a loss making football club with a relatively small stadium can be sold for £4.25bn then…For a publicly traded company, you rarely see a premium on share valuation of anywhere approaching that percentage. Especially when their max valuation for the last few years has been around $3.4 bn ($20/share). This isn't a company who has had a recent decline -- they've been pretty consistent in their valuation for years now with a few spikes that weren't sustained. £6bn would be $7.25m.. that seems unfathomable given their actual share price. It's hard to do a direct comparison with a privately owned company like Chelsea. I guess we'll see.
By Cleff Go To PostWe're selling AWB back to Palace for £10m.
We bought him for £45m.
Fine. Whatever. If that's true then I suppose the whole Dest thing is on.

I would hope that in the event of a minority sale, that new shareholder would have the power to change our footballing structure.
Ideally they'd just but the club outright.

What is the motivation for the Glazers to sell? Surely they can continue to sit back and take dividends while watching the Premier League grow and grow - don’t really get this ‘pressure’ to sell.

There's an ugly populist pressure from the masses of fans, led by Trotskyists like Gary Neville. It could become dangerous, it could become violent.
Or so I've heard from Simon Jordan.
FF2 will come for me now.
