By bacon Go To PostJohn is also very common and has been for over 70+ years. That's with an existing traditional Dutch alternative: Johan. Curiously, John is often pronounced (among boomers) as Sjon (Shon). I think it's got everything to do with the popularity of Americans and Canadians post WW2 liberation, with a slight Dutch twist on it. The name Jeff is oft pronounced as Yeff, to give another example as that's how J is pronounced in Dutch. That ought to explain Sjon as well. Thanks for the info. I like learning stuff like this. Curious then, is Joey pronounced more like Yoey or something closer to that or does it have the hard J?
Unrelated, I see that Angeliño was loaned to Hoffenheim. Pretty interesting, he was a regular starter for RBL last season so I wonder what lead to this.

A Joey I know will be called Joe, Joey, and Yoey (and a Polish-Dutch acquaintance will call him Joy and nobody knows what that's about). He really doesn't mind between Joey or Yoey.

My own name gets anglicised fairly often too and I'm fine with that.

Good thing about supporting United is you forget what the sport is like and allow yourself to be surprised again.

In the last year I've consistently watched middling teams and been really quite impressed by how tactially advanced and organised they are. And I really wish I was joking / lying.

just rumours.
but if he can't get a game for united ahead of their shite I'm not sure he would here.
By Laboured Go To PostThink Amad would do very nicely in the Champ. That will be useful
2-0 and I would think we would be strong favourites. But with that goal near the end it's completely open again. Shame Thorup sits with a finger up his ass every time, until the opponent scores. Useless cunt.
We are five matches into the league, and got 6 points.

We’re supposedly going for Malinovskyi. Always wondered what it’d be like to have PES 4 Adriano playing on your team

Congrats on drawing against some scottish farmers.

the only loss was the last game, 3-0
sensational form, nephew. winning is for cunts. losing is for bitches. drawing is the real gentleman result.
Matheus Nunes has been in England since early afternoon and not a single rumor of a midfielder for us.
Estupinan looked really solid when I saw him play for Ecuador's national team. Think he cost about 1/4th what they got for Cucurella and I don't think there will be much if any drop-off from Cucurella. Great signing, was actually thinking City should target him if we didn't get Gomez.

Hugs everyone 👍. I came here real quick. Haven't been here in some time."

Fucking hell we've absolutely lost the plot. You can't sign players like this late in the window, and even kids know this.
Felix just had 3 assists yesterday. That is the kind of player you'd want to get before the season started anyway to avoid any sort of resurgence in value like this. I'd love to see him playing under Pep but he's a guy who is going to cost at least £100m and a selling team would want lots of time to replace a guy like that.

Surely you mean *checks notes* £45m plus unattainable add-ons?

He is but as we'd feared he's an absolutely powerless joke. Seems Football Expert Joel Glazer gets final say on anything Murtough does anyway.

By Laboured Go To PostSurely you mean *checks notes* £45m plus unattainable add-ons?Ahh right, far more likely.
I obviously love this Utd fuckery, but I genuinely don't understand the lack of vision. If nothing else, I would say a very obvious signing who would provide some genuine quality is Houssem Aouar. He's being linked with NFFC so he should be very, very attainable.
There are some other really strong young players who they could make a run at for a relatively decent fee (£45m or less): Sofiane Diop, Yeremi Pino and Yari Verschaeren. I think I saw they had been linked with Benoit Badiashile previously and he seems like a good option. Pino is definitely going to be sold I saw presumably to balance the books. I'd probably make a run at Samu Chukwueze as well if they need to sell.

By Laboured Go To PostWith the amount made from Matheus Nunes, will we reach an 80M€ net profit on transfers this window.
