Nothing will ever top Woodwards first transfer window. Moyes wanted Fabregas and Bale.
He got Fellaini.

By Laboured Go To Postomfg lolIt's funny in general that they posted this, but is the background sound like a Gen Z meme thing I am unfamiliar with?
Pretty obvious that there's only enough money to sign one quality midfielder. No deciding is necessary.
Does make you wonder why United were so bullish about signing Antony and a striker earlier this summer. I don't think they'd just plant those stories to keep fans onside. There's too much resentment amongst the fanbase for that to work.

By bud Go To Postpsv kinda suck, but veerman is going to be a phenomenal player.I always get a kick out of it when a player from another country has a very American name. His name is Joey?! I always try and find out if they have like an American dad who is in the army so we can maybe get them in.

I know a bunch of Joey's with no apparent link to the US.

let’s try and sign a pivotal member of the real madrid side who won the champions league two months ago
It’s like we are signing players from the Standard Player List in the illustrious video game eFootball 22.

great attack 1-1

By inky Go To PostXimelez was a wide midfileder. Exactly the kind we don't need you cunts.Signing a wide midfielder sounds like exactly what United would do.
Iouga was the real DM
And they'd be lucky, because Ximelez would be a force on the left

scone + rodda's clotted cream = heaven on earth
they stopped selling the cream over here because of brexit, though.
fucking cunts.
The word scone derives from Middle Dutch. It's like poetry.
It's high time you limeys get rid of all the French in your otherwise perfectly adequate language.

By Meier Go To PostSuper interesting! Having that as an actual given name is relatively uncommon in the US actually – usually just someone named Joseph who goes by it.John is also very common and has been for over 70+ years. That's with an existing traditional Dutch alternative: Johan. Curiously, John is often pronounced (among boomers) as Sjon (Shon). I think it's got everything to do with the popularity of Americans and Canadians post WW2 liberation, with a slight Dutch twist on it. The name Jeff is oft pronounced as Yeff, to give another example as that's how J is pronounced in Dutch. That ought to explain Sjon as well.
