Someone needs to tell these footballers to not sign new 6 year contracts if they're just going to demand a move when a bigger club comes calling.
Watched all 3 eps of the Arsenal Amazon series today. It’s ok, they don’t really go into anything new so far. Arteta is a motivational speaker more than he is a manager lol, I wish they would go deeper into the tactical side of him.
By Xpike Go To Postthey're not very smartThese lads have zero real world exp.
Agents will exploit what they can.
Hopefully Fofana's fee prices Chelsea out of a move and their only opton to generate some funds is selling Maddison to us
Fofana will end up at Chelsea and Maddison will stay 😭

Topics discussed in the latest TSFP:
- Will Madrid retain the title?
- How much stronger are Barça?
- Can Atleti make it a 3-horse race?
- How will Gattuso do at Valencia?
- Valverde at Athletic, how will he do?
Thoughts?
I think Barca have built a very good squad, even though they still have tons of shit players (pique, bousquets, alba to name a few... they're all mid-table to low-table players). Their younger kids are either a dud or sold already, with the exception of 2-3 bright talents. I think the addion of Lewa is a great get but the resigning of Dembele is their biggest win. Kounde will be key for them.
We've added to our depth thats for sure, though we still lack where it may hurt the most; ST backup for Benz. Our midfield should be pretty incredible this year, Cama will likely force a starting position but KCM is still king. Rudi will enable us to move Alaba to LB for when we're pushing for a goal but Mendy should be the defacto LB starter, our win % with him at LB is very good. The most underrated player is probably TBO, without him we would have won nothing last season, I think he'll have another fantastic year. There is hunger to win more with this team.
I can't say how Gatusso will do at Valencia, but given their overall troubles I except this to be a flop signing, but who knows, maybe a Gatusso figure is what Valencia need right now to get out of their slump.
I anticipate Valverde will do very well at Atheletic and make a play for an EL spot and push heavy into the CDR. They still have a very good team, it feels like they always have a good team.
Atletico is a question mark for me, they have so many good players that if given a good sprint in form can push for a 3 way race. Felix has yet to be untapped, the kid is a star, it's clear how good he is. I anticipate Oblak having a much better year this year, he's been poor (and his front 4) lately.

I think Barca will win La Liga quite easily this season. For all that he is old, Lewandowski is still one of the best players in the world, and their moronic spending will likely let them win out in the short term over Madrid, who have completely failed to reinforce some obvious weaknesses
i had forgotten we actually started some PL matches last season with AMN and Lokonga as our midfield pivot
we just weren't a serious club

Got through the first few episodes of all or nothing and enjoyed that more than I thought I would.
It's definitely got me fired up for the game tomorrow, lets fucking go and batter Palace.

Since 2018, City have totaled 358 points. Liverpool 357. I wonder what our chances of winning the league this year are. No WC for Salah, and no AFCON either, maybe we have a chance.
Cheers lads
i hope one day you will forgive the sins of the moyes blog.

By domino Go To PostFootballing performance stagnation aside - most teams commercial revs froze - there was this whole global plague that shut everything down.
We really fell off smh
Also, Teamviewer's actual profits are down, cost-cutting is the real reason for them pulling sponsorship, 47 million a year is a good chunk of rev.
Happy Boyday, N8

There aren't too many full backs in the world who would warrant a £60m+ transfer fee.
Chelsea will need to spend a similar fee or more on a CM too.
Opportunity cost.
