I realized I am old when I find myself on tiktok seeing kids making video about how Drobga was overrated because he only scored in finals
Drogba 09/10 is the best season I've seen from a striker in the PL
Just bullied defenses every week, technically as well as physically. Feel it gets underplayed a bit because Rooney won the PFA award.

Quite revealing that Lacazette has ended up at Lyon.
France is his level; can't believe we spent £50m on him.

Pellistri had an assist for Cavani last night. He's a guy we've utterly fucked over with bad loan moves. He he either gets a chance under ETH or a decent opportunity elsewhere.

With all these outgoings hopefully he and Diallo get time with the squad next season.
Sounds like Barca are in a really bad way right now. Yesterday Xavi stated that it they were to sell De Jong it would be purely due to economic constraints.
Today one of their Directors contradicted Xavi and said any sales would be down to technical, on pitch reasons. But he also went on to say that the club is having issues because their wage bill is double that of Bayern Munich. Yet they still want to bring in Lewandowski, register Kessie and Christensen, and sign others too.
They're desperate for money.

Dunno who in their right mind would buy either player. Would be good to pare the squad back some more though.

Hopefully the club is done pursuing De Jong because from his interviews the lad seems heartbroken about the possibility of leaving Barcelona, and we really don’t need soft.

Do you think he should have been at a better quality team? Sometimes that is a double-edged sword for a young guy on loan. Madrid sent Reinier to BVB and he got less than 800 minutes in 2 seasons.. oof.
It seems like Pellistri played more but in smaller chunks in season two so maybe that didn't work out as well, but he probably wanted to stick with a team he'd become familiar with. I see they got relegated so Alaves probably didn't feel entirely comfortable giving a lot of minutes to a kid when their backs were against the wall.

The manager who originally signed him for Alaves was sacked and Pellistri lost his place in the side. New manager took a long time to start using him again. There was a period of a few months when he didn't play at all.

Theorycrafting a world in which Barca are leaking things about Pique's private life so they can get him to retire or leave.

Bartomeu really fucked over Barca, didn't he. Dear Lord.

Shakira is almost 30 years older than him, he is still just 17.
I didn't know we were interested, is this one of those where our name is thrown into the mix so that Man red will have to pay more?
