I had to edit my post to specify midfield player because Reece James is the best English player followed by Dean Henderson and Lingard.
Mount is better than foden? Drop me out loool is a better passer, quicker, better dribbler, better touch... Mount is probably better finisher but that's it.
Foden is comfortably ahead of all young English players that play in attacking role. Reece James isn't a bad shout for overrall best English tho.

By Hixx Go To Postmediocre?
ludicrous.
mediocre for as good a team as city
i mean even copenhagen players are great, if we take every single cunt who plays football into account.
By Kidjr Go To PostLike a conversation is to be had between Saka and mount, that's a fair argument.
Saka also better
if you pop saka into the city team he'll be as outstanding as ever, if you pop foden into this arsenal team he'd be mediocre at best

Fair enough if you prefer his style of play or whatever but there’s nothing really in the numbers that says Foden is better.

Foden is good. Mount is good. Saka is good. I don’t think there is much difference in quality between all three.

• It is evident early that Boehly will be very hands-on, certainly more than Abramovich ever was. Boehly and Eghbali are said to be very accessible and constantly available by e-mail if they are not in the UK.
• The most significant transaction on the playing side has been the negotiation with Inter Milan for Romelu Lukaku, which should be completed next week. As talks dragged on, insiders commented on how Boehly has approached it with a baseball mentality. Boehly has been trying to the best deal in every situation and is open to trading players. His belief was that if Inter really wanted Lukaku, then they should do a trade. A number of players were discussed but Boehly settled on a loan fee once the reality of the situation hit home.
• There was a difference of opinion within the hierarchy on the possibility of the loan. With the deal only lasting 12 months, there were concerns over long-term implications.
• It was important for the club to clarify Marina’s situation. For example, one agent who represents a player Chelsea are interested in revealed how she and Petr Cech had been unusually elusive for a few weeks. There was more radio silence than usual. It left the impression that they were not as involved as before. The agent was not the only one feeling this way.
• When Marina finally resumed contact, she implied that the new owners were doing their own thing. It felt as if she knew she wouldn’t be in situ for long, according to one representative.
• Marina was making business calls up until recently, but she no longer came across as someone who was calling the shots.
• Boehly has continued to be busy telephoning personnel from other clubs, partly to introduce himself and also to discuss transfer targets. He has spent a lot of time with Tuchel discussing their plans and players they want.
• Boehly admires the way Liverpool are run and wants to replicate it. That means Tuchel will be given even more influence on transfer business.
• Boehly is a big believer in analytics and wants to hire aggressively in the data science department. He wants to bring in six to eight people on board.
• Boehly doesn’t have any interest in the European Super League. He wants Cobham to be used less for commercial activities so the players can focus on their football.

My buddy who hosts the American Chelsea podcast London is Blue has said the transition has been fine for them thus far. They had developed some really good ties with the club before so in that regard it could have represented a bit of a loss but they're hopeful having American owners will only help in the long run. The new management team is going to work with them pretty closely on the American tour though and they'll do some things for the official US account and stuff apparently.
Don't post that on r/chelseafc though plz.

This kid is pretty talented, I wonder if he'd be a Moussa Diaby replacement effectively. Weird to see such a short contract though.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostMeier plsKind of a surprise, he was with the first team a lot in training and played a couple games this season. Very cheap fee, wonder if there is a buy-back on top of the sell-on fee. Would think if City waited a year that any sort of tribunal ruling would be worth more than this price.
We can go into the season having an English front 3 (ESR/Nketiah/Saka) and a Brazilian front 3 (Marti/Jesus/Raphina) lol

Steady on. Less incentive for Leeds to sell Raphina now Philips is going.
