By Scum Go To PostWith Lewandowski gone, Sadio will be the main mane at Bayern.
Liverpool really are the best club around when it comes to squad management. They've an excellent recruitment structure and know what players would fit their system. Decreases the chance of flop signings.
They've good negotiators and can sign these players/renew contracts for non exorbitant amounts. So they aren't pricing themselves out of a sale. The money for Mane and Minamino will cover a decent chunk of the Darwin fee.
They know when to move players onto new clubs too. Mane is still excellent and would be if huge benefit to them next season. But he's 30, looking for huge wages and only has a few years left at his best. Liverpool got his best years and are selling for around the fee they bought him.
Doing everything United aren't

Goodbye sweet prince, end of an era. Massive loss for the PL and Liverpool. Good on him for leaving though, after he dragged the team to the only two trophies they got last season and didn't even get the chance to play in the finals. Fuck criminal Klopp for never really trusting him and playing bums instead. Will come back to bite him in the ass, enjoy not winning any trophy next season coward.
I'm glad Takumi gets to join a gentlemen's club like AS Monaco. Ligue 1 Uber Eats is going to be centre of attention next season.

Why did bud post a picture of Sadio Mane's face photoshopped onto Akon's body...and Furio from Sopranos?

By Laboured Go To PostWow, looks like things are really moving now 👊If he's 2/3 goalkeeper what's the other 1/3?
By Cleff Go To PostI thought he was a youngster. Whey did Liverpool sign him?
Lol
Take so much time trying and failing to sign Frenkie that your other targets no longer need to be sold.

Is waiting until Ajax had sold lots of players and balanced their books a bad strategy?
No, it is Ajax that is wrong.
No, it is Ajax that is wrong.
Unfortunately, there simply aren't any other players in the world worth buying other than Ajax players.

I do not need my Cleff alt. I have become unhinged by the heat in my office.
By Cleff Go To PostDidn't realise how poor Torres was in the air.I don't think a 5'9" CB is gonna make it in the Premier League. That is positively tiny by that position's standards. I always thought Otamendi was small and it turns out that he's listed at 6'0". This guy might have had great aerial success in the Eredivisie despite his height but I dunno.. that seems like a very risky signing to me. It isn't just aerial ability as well -- surely he's going to get seriously outmuscled as well with such a small frame.

Makes complete sense for Ebiowei to join Palace. They have a good record of bringing through young talents and he'll be under less pressure to be an immediate success.
But it's also another failure in United's recruitment drive.

Crystal Palace are quietly becoming a great club for just about any players to go to
