Didn't know Galtier by name until the other day as well when I saw a story about the negotiations. I was wondering if I had missed Poch officially being fired, but he's technically still their coach. I appreciate that they're hiring Galtier instead of going for an established "super coach." I guess you could say they did that with Poch as well, but he had developed a big reputation on a worldwide scale at least due to his time at Spurs.
Galtier has obviously had quite a few successful years in a row (winning the title with Lille was a major accomplishment and Nice clearly improved from their previous year), but it will be interesting to see how he handles the much bigger egos that go along with leading a team like PSG.
