This deal can't happen, someone make it stop please.
Breaking: Zidane signs for PSG in a staggering 200 million € a year deal, and he gets to decide which games he shows up for.
If we sign a right winger, that would answer the questions a lot of United fans have about why we don't sign young stars before they blow up ala Sancho. Amad has massive potential but needs a ton of games to hone that promise. He won't get that at United when we need results immediately.
If we were regular challengers for the title and could almost guarantee top 4 every season we'd see more experimention. Think Olé knew he was riding his luck a little bit which is why he was so reluctant to choose from anything beyond a pool of about 14 players.

There are young players who are more first team ready than others, but we also lack the vision and ability to integrate them into the first team gradually like other big teams do.
Amad and Pellistri always looked like investment signings anyways (i.e. looking at resale value first) and never planned to play for us. A couple of years back United started looking into the Chelsea loan army model as a financial goal under the guise of "signing young talent for the first team". It's all bullshit. These guys never had a real chance.
FWIW Pellistri talks a lot about how grateful he is. Even though he knew he'd hardly play (if ever), just the move alone raised his profile enough for him to secure better future transfers than he would have otherwise.

The issue is they aren't given a go and the players playing there are playing like shit.
Hopefully ETH gives them a go in preseason. Signing Anthony basically means they both need to play on loan again or move on.

Thing with players like Amad is that unless they impress in lower leagues when they’re loaned out, then what’s the point in trying to fit them in the first team?
Man Utd isn’t a school project, the talented young players need to rise to the top quickly or somebody else will be there to help the team achieve actual goals.
I imagine that out of ten bets on young players, you will be lucky to have one or two that can reach first team. It’s just the way it is.

By Laboured Go To PostAnyway, if you really want to have some fun, you should read Collymore on #The Frenkster.Odegaard had no chance against Casemiro, Modric and Kroos. We weren't going to change our playing style to fit Odegaard in either. That and odegaard wasn't better than Modric.
Good luck to United with FDJ, who knows maybe United will make him a better player.
Ref has a vendetta against Portugal in this game. Misses a foul and then gives a unfortunate handball.
*He goes to VAR and chalks off the pen and gives a free-kick for the earlier foul*

Let's go
Salah, Diaz, Nunez, Jota, Firmino, Carvalho
Probably isn’t room for Minamino in there anymore, sadly. We wouldn’t have won the cups last season without his goals, and as much as I’d love to see him stay and succeed… he’ll be gone by the start of next season. Just hope he ends up somewhere that suits him.

This classic football manager with Buffon in goal?
Sounds like ETH tried to get Gravenberch to join United, but the player had already agreed to sign for Bayern.
