By Cleff Go To PostThe most recent Stranger Things series just reminded me that Kate Bush is a once in century genius.
speaking of geniuses...
Watching my boys against Cape Verde, had no idea Manchester Red legend Bebé played there. He's the only player I know on that team.
Primavera Sound Porto was this weekend so I am going to post the final song of my favourite concert of the only time I got to go there (it's probably my favourite festival in Portugal).
It's one of my all time favourite bands and having the chance to see them live was amazing.

'However, United appear to have made a decision on Nunez, with ESPN reporting that they will not pursue his signature due to the threat of being drawn into an expensive bidding war.
As a result, United believe that Liverpool may well be making an error in splashing out a huge sum - believed to be in the region of £85million - on the 22-year-old despite his eye-catching record. The Red Devils have been guilty of spending frivolously in recent seasons.'
I just thought it was funny for United to think this is the player to make a stand on. It wasn’t Maguire, Pogba, or AWB. Given Liverpool’s terrible record with big money signings recently, it makes sense. Surely we’re the ones making the mistake here
United's priority has always been FDJ, he's going to cost a pretty penny no way we get him and Darwin using up our entire budget.
The whole thing stinks of agent talk.

I like how he had to clarify which Slatterys it was. There's about 20 pubs with the same across Dublin and they'd all probably sing that song too.

Was ar Prima in Barcelona weekend 1. Aside from some shitty organization it was a great festival.

Had to prioritise FDJ or Nunez and they chose FDJ. Liverpool came in and took him. If you weren't involved I wouldn't be suprised if we signed both. We are just terribly slow in the market it seems.

We are just terribly slow in the market it seems.Yeah. It clear we were interested in him but we are prioritizing FDJ because we can't seem to do multiple transfers at once, and I we take too long with these things. Also, while we might be able to match other club in financial terms, it is clear that our lack of CL and the current state of our club is a barrier we can't easily overcome. FDJ, I suspect, is coming because of ETH's direct involvement in persuading him to join. And that is only possible because he isn't extremely vital to Barca and of course the debt they are in.
I hope the act fast with FDJ. PSG are changing both their manager and football director. Its obvious they have a barely adequate/perfunctory midfield and FDJ would improve it a lot. The have the money and they offer CL football.
EDIT: Would you look at that, PSG just announced the departure of Pochettino.

Speak for yourself mate.
I love them.
Top teams playing each other more often.

Makes no difference anyway, would have just been random friendlies being played right now regardless.
Enjoy them m8, I can't stop you. But just remember I warned you. 🙏

A joke Italy team still manages a draw in England.
Disappointing for me, but I still love watching those games.

Only about 2 were memorable - Brogans and Molly Malone.
I hope Darwin’s knee is all fucked up so he fails the medical and has to stay because no one will touch him

The idea behind the Nations League is a good one. No more friendlies and you're actually playing for a trophy at the end.
But having these fixtures after the regular season has ended is mind bogglingly stupid. Players are clearly knackered and the quality of a lot of games is pretty poor. It's especially a bad idea to have more competitive games when players should be resting for a gruelling season which also includes even more matches because of the World Cup.
