By Koko Go To PostTapping into my coping mechanism or self-delusion, Hazard has looked realy good these past 1-2 games, even the other teammates have mentioned it.

My underrated Darwin joke from yesterday was much better:

By Lego Go To PostHe’s shit right, Martins? He will either be amazing or a massive flop, no in-between. Right now I think there's a 70% he will be amazing.
By rossonero Go To PostCome on Will, are you really gonna sign Botman against his will? (Pun intended)
Probably not, no

Dear Chile, suck my dick. Suck the collective dicks of all the millions of Ecuadorians on this planet. Cunts.

By Laboured Go To PostThat's annoying, he actually looks like a good player.
Lots of new stories on De Jong today. The Daily Mail and The Telegraph says United have agreed personal terms and Barca will want to recoup the £65m they spent on him. ESPNs Spain based reporters says Barca want £85m and that City, Bayern and PSG have all shown interest but not at the price quoted.
To put a positive spin on things, clubs often start a PR war on the transfer fee when things are close to being finalised. They want to make out like they bought for as little/sold for as much as possible.

By recon_zero Go To PostChristensen confirmed going to Barcelona. Good get. But will they have enough moneisHave you seen him play much this season? He’s awful
He had a period where he was really quite good. Then back to his old shit level again. Certainly easy to see who got the better deal out of Madrid and Barcelona
Newcastle bidding 50-55m for Botman, while Milan is only willing to go to 30m according to Sky Sports.

By Andrew Go To PostSurprised other clubs don't seem to be in for FDJ.Not many clubs out there that both need gim and can afford him.

By Andrew Go To PostSurprised other clubs don't seem to be in for FDJ.Many will disagree with me, mainly because of my perceived bias (albeit there is some little truth in it, understandably), but he's just not that great IMO. I don't think United shouldn't be going in for him, because anything is likely an upgrade at this point, but I don't see the big deal in him at all, a very average player who comes off as good in a very bad team, I mainly see weakness in his mental game, and I wonder how that'll work with a rebuilding United.

I suppose the Leinster rugby team and they've just been at the end of two losses in the European Cup final and now the league semi final final (top sides in the league go to playoffs against each other) For both games they were overwhelming favourites. Up until both defeats they played the best rugby of any side in either competition.
Can anyone think of a football equivalent of massive favourites consistently underachieving in the crucial games?

The BBC are in on the De Jong story as well now. Been confirmed by both of their Manchester based reporters that we're speaking to Barca. Neither comments on transfer stories until they're 100% sure.
It sounds like this will get done eventually, provided Barcelona don't ask for stupid money. Which is possible.

He came off pretty good in that bad team that beat you 1-4
